The foam-lined earpads are comfortable for extended listening, and the sound quality is clear and well-balanced, with particularly nice bass response. Throw in hands-free Siri access for your mobile apps and you’ve got an all-purpose headset that will last.

One of the most compelling features is the active noise cancellation, which we tested against competitive headsets and found to be outstanding in many circumstances. These are just top-flight headphones in just about every way, but why pay full price?
