Manual Data Deletion Requests: If you prefer a more personal touch or wish to inquire directly about the data deletion process, we’re here to help. You can request the deletion of your data by:
- Emailing us at: datarequest@geektips.site. Please include “Data Deletion Request” in the subject line to ensure prompt processing.
- Filling out our contact form: Contact Form with the subject “Data Deletion Request.”
We will respond to your request within 30 days, providing confirmation of deletion or explaining the reasons if any data cannot be deleted.
Automated Data Deletion via Facebook: For those who used our services through Facebook, you can initiate an automated data deletion request directly from your Facebook account settings. This process is designed to be straightforward and secure, ensuring your data is handled according to Facebook’s guidelines.
To start the automated deletion process:
- Go to your Facebook Account’s Settings & Privacy.
- Click “Apps and Websites.”
- Find GeekTips in the list of active apps and websites and remove it. This action will automatically send a deletion request to us.
What Happens Next? Upon initiating a data deletion request through Facebook, you will receive a confirmation from us, including a unique code and a link to track the status of your request. This ensures transparency and allows you to stay informed about the progress of your data deletion.
