Bose has long dominated the noise-cancelling headphone market with its QuietComfort line, but high quality comes with a high price tag—too high for many shoppers. Which is why this week’s Amazon Prime Day sale is the ideal time to buy.

Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones and QuietComfort earbuds each earned a PCMag Editors’ Choice stamp of approval and they now feature a discounted price tag: Save $100 on the over-ear 45s (now $229) and in-ear buds (currently $179).

For the athletically minded, meanwhile, Bose Sport Earbuds and SoundSport Wireless headphones are also on sale for $30 off ($149 and $99, respectively).

The best of the best in terms of active noise cancellation, the Bose QuietComfort 45 come in a sleek black or white, with a cushioned headband and plush earpads. Old-school physical buttons—three clustered on the back edge of the right earcup—handle playback, call management, track navigation, voice assistants (depending how many times you tap), and volume up/down. The left side features an ANC/ambient mode button.

The headphones—compatible with Bluetooth 5.1 and the Bose Music app for Android and iOS—ship with a zip-up case and a USB-A-to-USB-C charging cable. Bose estimates about 24 hours of battery life, which varies depending on volume levels. And you can save $100 now for Prime Day.

If you’re looking for best-in-class noise cancellation without the heft, look no further than Bose QuietComfort Earbuds—also a PCMag Editors’ Choice pick, thanks to its balanced audio, secure fit, and splash-resistant build.

Available in black or beige with an $100 discount, the QC buds ship with three pairs of all-in-one silicone eartips and earfins (small, medium, large) for a strong in-canal seal, helping to block ambient noise even before the ANC technology is turned on. A touch-sensitive control panel on each bud makes it easy to access saved noise cancellation preset modes, play or pause audio, change tracks, summon a voice assistant, answer or end calls, and get a battery life readout.

Bose estimates roughly six hours of battery, plus 12 hours from the charging case, which works with wireless Qi charging pads or the included USB-C cable. With an IPX4 rating for water-resistance, the earbuds are protected against sweat, light rain, and splashes, but should not go swimming with you.
