Perfect Balance of Power and Performance. Performance:The Intel Core i7-13650HX and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 combo is a beast! Every game I've tested so far runs smoothly at high settings. The 16GB DDR5 RAM ensures multitasking is a breeze, whether I’m gaming, streaming, or working on video edits.Display:The 16-inch, 16:10 FHD display with a 165Hz refresh rate is a game-changer. The visuals are buttery smooth, vibrant, and crisp. It’s perfect for fast-paced games where every millisecond counts.Build and Design:The laptop feels premium and sturdy. The cooling system is excellent, keeping the machine cool even during intense gaming sessions. The RGB lighting on the keyboard adds a stylish touch.Value for Money:For its price, this laptop packs incredible features that cater to gamers and content creators alike. It’s future-proof and ready to handle even the most demanding tasks.Overall Experience:This is hands down one of the best gaming laptops I’ve ever owned. ASUS nailed it with this model, providing top-notch performance, cutting-edge features, and excellent build quality. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a powerful, versatile machine. 👏If you're considering this laptop, don’t hesitate—it’s worth every penny!
Outstanding. The ASUS ROG Strix G16 is an absolute powerhouse and a dream machine for gamers and creators alike.Equipped with top-tier hardware, this laptop handles everything I throw at it effortlessly. Gaming is buttery smooth even with maxed-out settings, and multitasking is seamless thanks to the powerful processor and ample RAM.The 16-inch screen with its high refresh rate is stunning. The colors are vibrant, the details are sharp, and the fluidity makes fast-paced games feel immersive and responsive.Sleek, modern, and undeniably ROG. The RGB keyboard is customizable and adds a premium feel, while the cooling system is highly effective and keeps the laptop running optimally even during long sessions. For a gaming laptop, the Strix G16 strikes a great balance between performance and portability. It’s lightweight enough to carry around without sacrificing the power you’d expect from a desktop replacement. While gaming laptops are known for short battery lives, the G16 pleasantly surprised me with its efficiency during non-gaming tasks. For the specs and performance this machine offers, it’s worth every penny. It’s an investment that will serve well for years to come.Whether you’re gaming, streaming, or editing, the ASUS ROG Strix G16 is a beast. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable, high-performance laptop!
Great laptop for more then gaming. It's a good laptop. My first time buying from ROG and I'd say it has been a good buy.The laptop runs everything I throw at it well. I stream edit and work from this computer. The battery is not great during gaming of course. But for mild tasks like note taking surfing the web etc. It does great and is plenty for me during my classes at college. It can get hot while gaming but I always have a little stand for it when I game. The fans and the system it advertises does alot better then I expected and overall is cooler then most laptops I see. Also it looks nice.
This was totally a better laptop than I expected. I am writing this review to get an extension from ASUS for my laptop warranty but don't let that think you are fooled because of what I am about to write... everything is truthful and here to help you!First... I had an Alienware laptop before and it was just SO LOUD. And hot. I decided to look for a new laptop within my budget and crossed my fingers that it would actually be good. Well... this computer blew me away with everything I had expected from it. First, it is very lightweight but has a nice, smooth finish to it that feels very durable. The graphics are absolutely incredible and the sound is great. I will definitely like using this laptop whether it be just playing games, watching videos, or writing some poetry! It has all my needs covered. It is also SO QUIET. I am almost in shock at the difference this was compared to the Alienware that was just so much more expensive. The battery life is much better as well. I love the lighting on the keyboard, it just goes with my personality. It's quick, easy to personalize, I really am happy that I bought this computer and not something else. The keyboard is also so much quieter. I won't be waking anyone up while I am up late at night messing around online! I highly recommend this... your money won't be wasted. Good luck and have fun!
The laptop performs well, with about 4 months of usage and it is still rock solid.
Great item for gaming, delivery fast
I purchased this laptop from this seller, and i am extremely satisfied. The device arrived promptly, well-packaged, and in perfect condition with the seal intact. I contacted the seller to confirm the product authenticity and they were very polite, kind, helpful, and attention to details. I would highly recommend this seller and would gladly shop with them again in the future .

Good Buy. This is an adorable little computer that has amazing functionality. The setup was very simple, minus the dreaded updates, but it took probably 20 minutes tops. I like that it is light weight, making transport a breeze. The brightness is fine for what I will be doing(school) and it seems to have a decently long battery life. All in all, I recommend.
Great value, bad screen. I bought the 16GB Ram/512GB SSD model and have been very happy with my purchase thus far. I do have one significant gripe with the product, so I'll get it out of the way briefly: the screen is very bad. The only acceptable viewing angle is very specific. Move your head left/right or up/down and you'll be seeing a photo negative of the display. It honestly feels like playing a 3DS on 3D mode.Luckily, I'm not using this while jumping on a trampoline or weaving out of the way of punches, so this isn't a total deal-breaker, but it is something I'm always aware of. The pros of this laptop are its good processor, great RAM capacity, and bang-for-your-buck SSD size. For $300, a lot is packed into this tiny chassis. I have a separate mini pc and steam deck that i use for gaming, so i was really on the market for something that could handle light browsing tasks and social stuff for a long time; this laptop is perfect for that, and with its specs, I suspect it is future-proof.Windows 11 Home is kind of annoying. It bugs you if you try to install something that isn't in their store. Microsoft Edge is very difficult to remove, and many don't recommend removing it out of fear that it is structural. The first thing I did was uninstall the bloaty default Windows apps, of which there were many. For the first time, I'm considering switching to Linux since I won't be using this for gaming or running any apps that are incompatible with Linux. My advice, if you hate this version of Windows, is to consider Linux or, even better, go to CDKeys or some other keyshop and buy a discounted redemption code for a version of Windows that suits you better.Lastly, the build quality of this device is remarkable for its price. The keyboard feels amazing. The touch pad is large and features a cleverly-integrated touch-sensitive num-pad that can be conveniently toggled on and off. It boasts "military-grade" build quality, and I'm not sure exactly what that means lol, but I can confirm that it's sturdy and probably built to last. There's also a nifty cover for your webcam lens.I understand that at $300, a sacrifice had to be made in some aspect. In this case, that is the screen. Normally I wouldn't take off a star if the sacrifice made sense in the overall value and didn't affect usability too much, but I really am annoyed by the screen, because I believe that a halfway-decent screen wouldn't have driven up the cost too much.I recommend this to anyone who needs a laptop for light tasks such as browsing, social media, and travel. A lot of its issues could be fixed by connecting it to an external display, so it could even be good if you're doing photo editing or using it to stream stuff. I love it!
Medium level laptop with lots of power and features. Excellent value for a quality Asus line. This 14" laptop is compact enough for travel especially on airplane seats when the table has so little space. I used to have a 17" old laptop and the screen gets "crushed" when somebody in front reclines the seat. However 14" can be little small for daily use but I am at a age using reading glasses so I don't have any problem seeing smaller words. At first I was afraid to go into a new laptop with windows 11. I got used to it very quick and no problem from the beginning. You can modify Windows 11 to look like Windows 10 but with better features. The monitor is bright and clear, pad easy to work and I can trust Asus with all its features and quality as I had Asus before. 512GB SSD is lightning fast and plenty of space after Windows 11. Even though it is Intel core i3, the 16GB Ram helps speed up with most common daily tasks even with moderately speedy games. WiFi and Bluetooth connections are fast and smooth. This is a great for me as a second computer for mostly travel.
Vivobook model X1404ZA. Blue. The media could not be loaded. This review is for the Vizio book 14 inch, with the i3 processor and 16gb of ram.The model per the computer is x1404za. It's not listed on Amazon but that's what it is.First this has pretty good hardware for the price of ~$300. The processor is about 4x better than the i7 in my old (10 years) laptop. The ram is fast. DDR4 3200 Mt/s which is very good and not listed so figured I'd let yall know.On task Manager it says it has Intel 8gb GPU. But I do not think this laptop has a dedicated GPU. So this might be a semi -lie. Basically it's a software that converts the CPU processor into GPU functions. But that's not the same as a dedicated GPU. Intel doesn't make GPUs anyhow. It's not a gaming laptop (regardless of the 8gb GPU listed) and I don't plan to even try to run games from it. It's probably going to be perfect though for viewing videos or anything like that. It's a work laptop for me so as long as I can do zoom, PowerPoints, and some stats software, it's prefect. The laptop is light weight which will be nice considering I pack it around daily.Additionally the housing is aesthetic. I also really like the number pad option. The screen seems pretty good. I have a 4k TV and looking back and forth, the laptop screen seems about the same quality and resolution even though technically, it's not. But it does look good.Be sure to do all the updates and bios updates when you get it. You will need a Microsoft email to set up Windows. That's how Windows works since a few versions back. Hotmail email works fine.It didn't come with a bunch of bloatware, for once! I appreciate that. Nothing like spending hours removing junk from a brand new PC. Glad they stopped doing that nonsense.Overall , had it a week. Works great. No complaints.
Does python development & Xbox well & very affordable. This laptop has been used for a few months by me, I have done python development & played Xbox. The laptop does both well, especially since I only paid $304. The battery lasts longer without Xbox gaming even when coding, it dies charge quickly if plugged in, so if not plugged in expect with typical use atleast 5 hours of battery life, that if you are using YouTube or Tiktok & browsing the internet.
Works well and good performance for basic Web browsing, documents processing, movies watching etc. Bought it for kid's school needs.

Incredible Dual Screen Laptop. Absolutely amazing and everything I was hoping for and more. The level of productivity I have here for work is for leisure is amazing! The OLED screens are incredible looking and the keyboard is amazing! If you're considering buying, just do it!
This was worth the wait. The 2025 version of this laptop comes with the Ultra 9 285H CPU, which was worth the wait. There are a ton of YouTube video reviews, so I will not go into all of the details - you should definitely watch them first, but here are my pros and cons:Pros:You can use it like a regular laptop, and it is totally stable and the keyboard is *great*.The OLED screens are beautiful and bright (though reflective in bright light). The vertical mode is super stable and easy to get used to.Moving apps between screens is simple, and I have had no problems at all.In "standard" mode, I almost never hear the fans, even with multiple programs running. The system uses a small 65W power brick...any 65W or higher PD brick will be fine. The premium body is not a fingerprint magnet.Battery life seems good, but I have not used it too much without ACComes with the active pen, but I have no use for itThe MyAsus application is very good, and puts the system controls in one placeCons:Heavier than your usual 14" laptop, but you have 2 screens :-)Two Thunderbolt 4 ports - why not TB 5?The keyboard battery life when removed from the body seems a bit short when the backlight is onThe CPU can take more power, but it is limited in this machine to prevent it from throttling too muchBattery life is limited due to the two screens, but that is to be expectedWhy not Win 11 Professional instead of Home for a premium device? There is only 1 M.2 slot for storage, which is a bummerOverall, this is one of the best machines I have ever used. Applications are quick, and I am never waiting for something to respond. This is NOT a gaming machine, regardless of what you might hear. The iGPU is not the best that Intel has to offer, and the NPU for AI is weaker than most - but for what it is meant to do, it excels. This is a business laptop dream - if you multi-task a lot, edit multiple documents at once, etc., it is perfect. Did I mention how great the keyboard is? :-)Highly recommended!R
Super new laptop design. Very useful configuration. The extra screen makes getting work done much easier. Very fast laptop and the graphics are incredible.
The best laptop I've ever used in my life. The greatest laptop experience I've ever had. The only flaws is windows. But that has nothing to do with the hardware.I love it in book mode. The keyboard/trackpad is beyond fantastic. The Lenovo dual screen screwed up because it doesn't have a trackpad in the keyboard, nor a proper built in stand.
Can't get into the BIOS. So far it's a bit difficult to set up. I don't use Windows and want to install Linux. My normal approach is to open a laptop and swap out the NVMe. I can't get the case open even though I have a "special" screwdriver. So on to plan B, which means I have to get the machine to boot from a USB drive. Windows, of course gets in the way. So far I have tried F1 to enter the BIOS, but I guess I'll have to try F2 or F7 or Del.Does anyone know how to enter the BIOS ?
Great Productivity laptop for techie people. This is truly the best productivity laptop ever! If you are techy and know your way around a PC, it really change your way to portable work. I even tried opening it up thinking it might be a hassle to do deep clean/repasting and I would give it a 6/10 in terms of ease to maintaince (probably higher once you done it a few times). Highly suggest this to those tech!
LOVING IT SO FAR. This is a game changer for me. Road warrior here so having a built in second screen is amazing. No bloatware on the device other than the second screen drivers. When I’m home I have it plugged into an eGPU with 3 external monitors attached without a problem. (Recommend installing Intel’s graphics drives directly if you intend to do the same). Having the pen and the sleeve included at this price point is great.Coming from Mac OS as my daily, so this is a big change for me—and a very pleasant one at that!
Significantly better than 2024 model. I don't know if I got a bad 2024 model but out of the box I had significant lag issues. The laptop just seemed slow and the battery life was terrible, 4 hours tops using a single screen. After I changed the graphics shared memory from auto to 6GB it improved the lag but battery was still crap. This 2025 model, out of the box, had no lag issues and I'm getting 8 hours using a single screen.

Duuuuuuude very nice laptop. Doing great so far, i obviously had to upgrade the ram/memory whatever you wanna call it lol i play rust and it functions well graphics are amazing to me, price is decent for a starter laptop for gaming easy to navigate its actually a really impressive pc, but upgrade the memory capacity and its even better, color is great keyboard lights are cool idk what else to say im old so dont take much to impress me with new tech but id recommend this pc to any one its fast as heck and quite battery is still lacking but i think thats most laptops lol but overall i really dig it and if you know rust then you know it dont take much to crash your pc so thats a huge win for this pc i put in 2 16gb memory sticks for 36 gb it runs flawlessly. Happy gaming!
Great entry level gaming laptop. Let me preface by saying the last time I purchased a new laptop was in 2005 (Acer Aspire 3000) and while tablets are nice for on the go, my digital life was a hot mess. I needed something that wasn't wafer thin flimsy and that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I am by no means a gamer, nor do I play PC games but I was still looking for a laptop that had some heft to it. I stumbled across this one mainly because it was suggested by amazon and the price seemed right even though its a 2021 model. After reading reviews and comparing bewteen this and the similar price/spec Acer Nitro, I chose this one because upgrading the RAM and adding an additional SSD drive wouldn't require a doctorate in computer science. As far as upgrades are concerned I also purchased the crucial 64GB (2x32gb) set as well as a 2TB Crucial NVMe SSD drive when I ordered this as mentioned by an earlier reviewer. The install took all of 10 minutes to pop the back cover off and slip in the new RAM/SSD modules and I was ready to fire this baby up. I figured I would just max the RAM (64GB) and beef up the storage and be done with it so opening the back cover wouldn't be necessary any time soon.Initial setup was pretty straightforward with Windows 11 and once I got to the home screen I got into the settings and performed all the necessary windows updates as well as the updates for the bundled Asus graphics software. Aside from the McAfee antivirus and the Microsoft 365 trial programs, there was no other bloatware to be found. Once those were uninstalled I was able to customize settings to my liking. The laptop comes as advertised, I wasn't expecting 15 USB ports on this nor do I require that many. The keyboard is very nice and is a full size with a slightly smaller than normal 10 key number pad. Keys are nice and clicky, not mechanical but also not a mushy membrane either. The backlit keys are a nice touch and can be customised to your liking as long as it's all the same color. It has about four different modes for pulsing lights or strobe or just on always. The trackpad is great and has the physical right and left mouse buttons and it is mostly centered so you dont brush the trackpad when typing.Out of curiousity I tried the online benchmark test to see how this machine ranked, and surprisingly with the RAM upgrade it ranked in the 92 percentile range (see photos) and the graphics were very smooth ranging anywhere from high 60's to 130 FPS on ultra settings. As mentioned I am not a PC gamer but hopefully this information will be helpful for those that do partake. I may run some console emulators at some point, but for now I'll just be enjoying the soft glow from the keyboard lighting.
I absolutely love my laptop. After using my laptop for a few months, I can say that this laptop is a great quality choice for gaming. It runs great for most games, loads fast, has multiple ways of monitoring performance, and is overall an amazing choice if you’re on a bit of a budget for a PC gaming. It’s resistant to overheating due to the multiple fans in the system which will turn on automatically when it needs to, but you can also adjust the mode of the fans with just a button. The sound quality is like any other laptop, but just a bit better.Additionally, as a college student, I’m always on my laptop for school work/documents/videos, and I never have any issues using my laptop for everyday tasks like writing papers/e-mails. It runs great and almost never lags, even with all the different apps and things I have downloaded.Overall, I 100% recommend if you’re looking for a laptop to get into gaming with and it’s in your budget!
Very Nice, BUT. It's a very nice computer with moderate performance. It works exactly how it's priced. Think of 'get what you pay for' in this package. It'll play games well enough without hiccups if everything is on medium settings for newer games, and very smoothly on semi-older games with high settings.Do not expect to play games such as Body Cam. It's doable, but the framerate is <30 and sometimes it'll look like a slidehsow if it feels like it doesn't wish to work that hard. It's been a mixed bag between each match. It took it a moment to properly 'wake up' when first getting it. Booting up the thing and getting everything set up may take a moment, but once you have it kicking, it'll keep up with your pace. Heat isn't too bad so far, putting it through a few things and it has gotten warm, but not hot.The weight isn't bad. Though don't take my word for it, it's my first laptop. Now here comes that 'but' part. Battery life is pretty much nonexistent. Keeping it off the charger and playing any type of game destroys the battery life. Fully charged, use the computer, unplugged, and the thing warned me about an hour fifteen minutes in that the battery is nearing it's end. Check the battery itself and it says "5%" and it has 6min of life left. So think of each percentile being ~1min of battery.Other than that 4/5,TL;DR: Medium price for Medium rig, Battery life abysmal without it plugged in. 1% = ~1min
Powerful, Reliable, and Perfect for Gaming. The ASUS TUF Gaming A15 (2024) is an absolute beast for gaming and productivity. The 15.6” FHD 144Hz display delivers stunning visuals and smooth gameplay. Powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050, it handles demanding games and multitasking effortlessly. The 8GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB Gen4 NVMe SSD ensure fast load times and smooth performance. The durable build, excellent cooling system, and Wi-Fi 6 support add to its value. A must-have for gamers who want top-notch performance without breaking the bank!
La mejor laptop qué he tenido, no sé calienta no hace ruido.

Laptop meets expectations. The laptop is very light, boot up is fast, lighted key board were my main wants with getting this laptop. The larger 17” screen is very nice. The Picture resolution is crisp.
Light and fast. The PC is so very fast. Its just perfect for what I need it to do. Its light but feels quite substantial. It has plenty of external ports for anything I may want to do.It gets a strong connection to my Wi-Fi. It sits right beside my old ASUS All in One which has a terrible time maintaining a good Wi-Fi connection. The old ASUS is being retired!
ASUS budget. Great laptop but needed an AX Wi-Fi card w/bluetooth 5.0+
A lifetime of Asus. I’ve been using Asus products for almost 30 years. It started with severs and and now 10 years with laptops. Great product.
Great computer. It’s great
Great size. I loved the size of the screen. This is for my stepson who is visually impaired. This laptop is great with the size of the screen and the backlit keyboard. I feel it's s good value. Arrived quickly and we're very happy with it.
lots of upgrades. at a fair price. So far so good.
Asus vivobook. An okay laptop but you can purchase it at best buy for a cheaper price a lot cheaper
The media could not be loaded.

Love this for rescue business. This product is build light weight and is small enough to carry with you but large enough to be able to see exactly what you’re doing. The battery lasts forever and that’s a huge bonus when I’m often working where power isn’t accessible. The Chromebook is sleek and looks high quality. It processes fast and functions as a high quality laptop would for a fraction of the price. The keyboard is fluid and easy to use. Definitely worth the money!
Amazing laptop. I have a lot of fun typing with it, it is fast with a phone chipset, vivid, light and quiet, and it does not heat up much like other Windows laptops in the market with the same range of price. Of course, it is a Chrome-based operating system, so you won't have Office and other Windows-based applications. But as a laptop to do my office work, browse the internet, and watch videos it is a steal! Quality is AMAZING.
Good value. Super light and works great. The size is small but it is a good value for the money.
No refresh rate OR touchscreen. Awesome chrome book, the only two things are, it is listed as touchscreen but it doesn’t actually have a touchscreen, with I’m fine with because i doing use touchscreen on laptops that do have them, the second problem is the steering don’t tell you the refresh rate if you go to display, this is actually a problem for me because i play some video games on it, but other than that it is an awesome laptop
beware of listed product details. the site listed touch screen but this was not the case and the seller claimed wasn't listed that way, yet I just pulled this off the ad site.Product DescriptionASUS Chromebook CM14 Flip is made for boosting productivity and having more fun — all day, every day. The 360° hinge provides the flexibility to remote study or work the way you like best. An efficient MediaTek Kompanio 520 processor and up to 14-hour battery life gives you the freedom to stay productive throughout the day. The 14-inch FHD Touchscreen provides an expanded view and supports a garaged USI stylus, enabling intuitive writing for enhanced productivity. Plus, the keyboard, touchpad and palm rest area with ASUS Antimicrobial Guard to inhibit the spread of harmful bacteria, durable build with US military-grade standard and water-resistant keyboard, keep ASUS Chromebook CM14 Flip protected when on the go.
What a find. I love it. Does everything that I need it to do. Looks nice.
Great value. I needed a new laptop but didn't have a lot to spent at the time. My coworker who's really into computers found this for me. He said it's perfect for what I need it for. He was eight it doesn't everything I need. The bonus for me is it charges with a regular C-type charger
NOT TOUCHSCREEN. I have ordered the same exact item twice. The first time I thought that they had shipped me the wrong item because the touch screen did not work. It's a Chromebook it seems fabulous in every other way but I am older and want a touch screen. When the second one arrived and was not a touch screen, it is described poorly by the seller. The only navigation is Voice or touchpad.
The charger is not suitable for Australia but for the US.
The first delivery didn’t arrive which I refunded and ordered another one. Been using it for lightweight web browsing and email and the battery life is really great! it’s one of the cheaper chromebook with a usb-c port charger which was convenient to charge. The rugged material is a bonus too

User reviews

Good value and performance. Product ID: G614JI-AS94.Price: $1649.Pros:- Value. The I9-13980HX + GeForce RTX 4070 are a step above mid-tier hardware and are offered here at a reasonable price compared to other "gaming laptops."- Performance. I've been able to play the newest and biggest games all on high / very high settings. I've had no issues, and I feel as if the games look and play great.- Upgradability. I've NOT upgraded my machine as I don't wish to void the warranty. However, and as there was confusion in other reviews, I have personally spoken directly with ASUS support ,as well as Crucial support, and I've confirmed that YES this machine can be upgraded to 64GB of Ram (2x 32GB sticks) and YES there is an available open SSD slot. As such, and considering current prices of Ram and SSDs, you can scale this up to 64GB Ram and add second SSD for a D-drive for a minimal additional investment to really finish out this machine.- Wifi. I get SIGNIFICANTLY better wireless Internet speeds on this device than the older gaming laptop I replaced. Did not expect that, but was pleasantly surprised.- Sounds. Speakers sound good enough. Music through Spotify is crisp and bass gets picked up okay too.Cons:- Battery life. When playing a video game on battery power, I get about only 45-minutes of game time, which is disappointing. However, performance seems to remain higher than expected. When general web browsing or doing home office tasks, I get about 3 hours. When streaming content, such as Netflix, I about about 2 hours, which is frustrating as you can't really watch a movie on a single charge.- Number pad. I was expecting a digital number pad or display as part of the track pad per the advertisement. This model number, G614JI-AS94, does not have that feature and that was very disappointing and seemed misleading.- Touchpad. Doesn't feel as responsive as the touchpad on the older gaming laptop I replaced. Additionally, oftentimes after exiting a video game the touchpad will outright not work and require a device restart.- Lights. As an adult, the multicolored lights are annoying and not something I'm interested in. It was not immediately intuitive on how to turn them off, but I found out that you can do so through the included software.- Startup sound. It's awful and ear piercing! I can't figure out how to turn it off.- Camera. Would have liked a better resolution here as it's not great.Indifferent:- Screen. I'm not a "gamer" so I don't really care or know anything about refresh rate. For me, it seems bright, clear, and things look good! However, I personally wish it was a 15.6 inch machine and not the 16 inch, as I'd prefer a slightly smaller and wider screen than this square.- Ports. Good enough for me and has everything I needed. However, some people might wish for more options. Conclusion:If you're not a real gamer, but want to play games, this is a great option that offers value and performance along with upgradability.
Exactly what I wanted (so far). Exactly what I wanted so far. Wanted something sturdy, reliable, and fast to replace my old dell G15. A lot of people have issues right out of the box and early on or with dead pixels. I haven’t had any of those issues.I’ve owned for almost a week and so far everything has been great, zero issues. Display looks great, sound is so so, performance is amazing. One thing is that the cpu temps are high because the i9 runs so hot, however you will not feel a thing because even when I was running 80C playing games, I couldn’t even feel it. Port selection is also awesome, I have everything I need. I do not use it on battery, so I cannot comment on that, however I have heard it’s not the best unless you specifically set it up for that. This thing should be able to handle basically any game you throw at it, you just might want to upgrade the ram so it’s on par with the other specs. I’m not sure if I’ll have issues in the near future, but so far the laptops been pretty perfect.NEED TO KNOWS FOR NEW BUYERS:1: Manually select gpu only in nvidia control panel instead of integrated graphics which is on by default for whatever reason (haven’t had that happen for other laptops)2: uninstall armory crate and install g-helper. Not only does this free up resources and battery life, g-helper is a much more lightweight and easy to use version of armory crate that has the same functionality (armory crate sucks)3: You are buying a 13th gen i9 that runs very hot, UNDERVOLT! Download throttlestop (both this and g-helper are very safe and vetted don’t worry). Throttlestop and g helper are defaulted to not start on startup, so if you mess something up, just reboot and you should be fine. Search up what others did for their i9-13980HX and see what works for you. My undervolt did pretty amazing, going from constant 80C while playing an fps game, to only 60-65C mostly hovering between 61-63 while only taking a small performance hit(350-550 frames to 300-400). Not only will this help the longevity of the cpu, but your fans won’t be nearly as loud. And so far the high temps I’ve seen my gpu go up to undervolt or not, is 60C.
Good for FPS bad for MMO. I gave camera 5 star and battery 5 star cause i didnt want to give it a bad shake. battery has always been plugged in and i havnt used the camera so i have no idea about those. So in FPs games COD/Tarkov/ and such where you have the graphics down so you have better frames. computer runs fine no issues. When you go into MMO's Like New World. All settings need to be on low FOV needs to be lowered. Your after market fan cooler needs to be on high. and you still constantly get lag it just cant handle Games like new world even on low settings. (works fine until your in big towns and such then you just lag all over)This computer cannot handle super high speed internet as well. So when i use my desktop witch is hard lined just like the lap top and do a speed test i get around 900mb-1.1 gb per sec. when i do it on the laptop witch is also hard lined i get about 30-50 mbps.I have owned this computer for a few months i bought it on prime day for 1400 and i wish i upgraded or went with something else or just didnt buy it in general lol. this does not really fit my needs for what i wanted/needed it to do unfortunately. All in all the computer does work and seems fine for FPS games just not MMOs or anything you really want to use graphics on.I do have a thunderbolt running to my monitor witch is a 1440 240refresh rate 1ms and i have tried it without the monitor on the little laptop screen (witch sucks for gaming) and still have had the same lagging issues in cyberpunk and new world and such. Hope this helps.
Very good, Thank you
Saludos.
Good customer service, arrived early and in good condition. I am satisfied
A good laptop and the lowest price in the market with these specifications. Thank you.

GOOD BUY, esp for battery life. [REVISED Apr 6 '24 for storage issues - see end.]I bought two of these. The oldest is 18 months old and still going strong (although the screen isn't as bright as the second one, which I never use except to update it). My first one was just $150USD and now the same model has gone up by $40USD. It's still a great buy.You can also find a nifty review on YouTube by the user First Look.***PROS:1. Excellent battery life. It really does last for 8+ hours provided you're not doing anything intensive like accessing a high-capacity USB HDD. Keep in mind that a bigger screen, a bigger built-in HD will drain your battery faster.2. Weighs 2.8 pounds (under 1.5KG).3. Still a great bargain at the current price (I bought two for $140 ea. over a year ago).4. The 14" LED screen works well for most purposes. I've noticed that my oldest one (18 months old) is losing brightness. But for the price, I'm not worried since I only anticipate 2-3 years' use out of it.5. Built tough like a tank - compare to Dell.6. Comes with Windows 10. The update to 11 is free. You'll lose some built-in HD space, but it's worth it.7. Built-in webcam and mic. I've used them for Skype and WhatsApp - not great quality but if you're traveling they'll do fine for those or Zoom.***CONS:1. Only 2 built-in USB ports. You'll need a USB hub. Note that a typical (unpowered) USB hub will not take a large-capacity USB drive. So if you want to run two of them, a powered USB hub helps, e.g.: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BZ46YVRK/ [NOTE: I actually daisy that with a standard USB hub and plug the former's power connector into it. It doesn't short on me.]2. The built-in keyboard and mouse pad are minimally useful. For traveling, consider a small external pointing device and a roll-up keyboard. (Which is yet another reason to have a USB hub.)3. Very little useful space on the built-in solid state hard disk (about 38GB available for apps and data). A USB HD will fix that problem; for traveling use large-capacity memory sticks. IMPORTANT: you have to turn off Windows' restore points otherwise your on-board space will deteriorate quickly. Be sure you back it up when you get it (you'll need a USB CD drive or a bootable memory stick). I keep very few "data" files on it. [Keep the ESC key pressed for boot options.]4. Not terribly fast, the processors are rated at 1.1GB. Supposedly it can be overclocked but I've never tried. It's a nice addition to a desktop, but most certainly NOT a replacement.5. You need to know your way around Windows for the best results. For ex., I had to create my own batch file to run MSPaint. (It's designed to prefer MS Office 365 which I refuse to deal with. Consider Apache Open Office - it's free.) Even tho' the processor is 64bits, I've been pleasantly surprised by how many 32bit applications seem to run on it.6. The built-in speaker sound quality is **dreadful**, but one can't complain given the size and weight. For traveling consider bluetooth headphones/speakers or USB speakers.7. Keyboard keys aren't backlit, but then the keyboard isn't very useful as I noted. When I'm in bed w/ wife, I just use an external backlit keyboard (lots of choices here - I like: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BRMCPPZ5/ ... that said, if you're on a plane and the lights are off, you're probably just going to have to live with your cell instead ... there's just not enough space on a tray table. For my money, it's not worth paying more for a built-in backlit keyboard.8. Will not hibernate (see below).***HD SPACE NOTES (built-in HD):1. I get the best results from setting PAGEFILE.SYS to a min of 2000 and a max of 3000 (roughly 2G & 3G respec.). Go toAdvanced System Settings | Performance | Advanced (virtual mem) ... you have to restart afterwards.2. I can't get this to hibernate (an annoyance when traveling). However HIBERFIL.SYS still exists. I got an extra 1.5GB by disabling hiberneration with this command (run from the command prompt as an administrator or power shell):powercfg.exe /hibernate off
I love this unit. I'm not a computer whiz, all i do is surf the web and take care of my books on this thing. But I find this unit to be lightning fast for what I do. I must admit I was a little disappointed that this is an older model ( 2021) but that would explain why it took forever to down load all the updates it had to go through. Once the setup was complete this unit is a whiz. Down loads are very fast (that's compared to my old azus lap top). I don't know what people are talking about when they say this unit is painfully slow. But then I'm not a gamer. For people that use their lap top for normal every day tasks like me, this unit is the best I've ever had and the price is right too. BTW, it seems to be solidly built. I HIGHLY recommend this laptop.
Great Value for a Linux Travel Laptop. The laptop came bundled with Windows-11 installed, rather than Windows-10. Frankly, the machine is under-powered for Windows-11: Browsing via Firefox with multiple open tabs was painfully slow; Watching movies from an external hard drive stuttered. Once I installed Linux Mint, everything worked just fine, including watching videos from an external hard drive, and streaming Netflix to the hotel TV.It'll cost about $65 to get this up to snuff: $15 for a USB Ethernet Adapter/hub, and $50 for a 1TB M.2 SSD. Still, that brings the total cost to $200, which is an excellent price for a travel/vacation laptop.
False advertising and poor quality product. This product is garbage. It advertises 228Gb storage and has just over 50Gb in reality. Flash drives have way more storage. Do not be fooled by this steaming pile of s***!. I only gave it a star because I had to rate it something in order to leave this review as a public service announcement
Tight charger hole. I will share two reviews. This is the first one, before 30 days usage of the product. I have used a lot of personal computers and I must say that this one is very affordable. The first thing to note is that when you plug the charger in, you have to add a little force to it so that it fits. At first I thought the charger was not the correct charger because I didn't apply force when plugging in to avoid damage but after some research I found out that it was the correct charger. I applied some force and it entered. Also if you lose your charger, it's hard to get a replacement so I suggest you buy a universal charger.
Touch screen wished it had. Works works good but wish it could touch screen
Best budget laptop. Over the years Chromebooks have dominated the low cost laptop market. This offering from ASUS provides those that need or prefer a Windows OS an option for that at an incredibly attractive price. While the components are quite low end, you can't ignore the fact that it is an incredible value for the price point. While you won't be doing much intense computing or gaming on this device, it does make for a terrific starter laptop for children. It could also be a good option for those that just want to check email, web browse, and do basic computing on a very lightweight and portable device.Pros: - The bargain basement price. - Decent audio. - Very lightweight and sized perfectly for portability. - A trackpad that doubles as a NUM pad. Very cool idea. - A full HD screen.Cons: Storage is limited but you can use external storage if needed.

Fantastic price to performance ratio if you're not into gaming. I originally bought this computer with the intentions of programming on the go.Let's get the bad out of the way first. This laptop is not designed, nor advertised for gaming by any stretch. You'll be able to get away with some older games but forget about getting reasonable performance at reasonable graphics levels on anything more modern. We're talking just barely getting 60fps on Spyro: Reignited Trilogy at 720p, lowest graphic preset. But that's impressive for not being a gaming laptop. Just keep your expectations in line. The good: This thing is blitzing fast in practically every other regard. This is where the SSD and CPU really take center stage. Everything is incredibly responsive and installs are very painless. Overall usage had me forgetting I wasn't on my desktop at times, so I give this a laptop a solid A+ in that regard. Boot times are damn near instant and restarting to finish installing applications happens in under 10 seconds.Battery life has yet to be tested very well so I can't comment too much on that just yet. I'll update when I get more usage out of the battery but from the get go, it seems pretty standard.Screen quality is again very standard. It's not winning any beauty contests compared to a decent ISP panel but again, it's not advertising itself as being anything spectacular in that regard. You get what you pay for and with this laptop, you're paying for the SSD/CPU performance which it absolutely nails.Style: I absolutely love the way this laptop looks. It's clean, sleek, and professional. Nothing over the top but doesn't look or feel cheap. Build quality is very solid. Obviously it's no MacBook in terms of build quality but it's also less than half the price of a MacBook so again, you get what you pay for.Sidenotes: My first unit had an odd manufacture defect on the screen; A white blotch that was only visible under certain conditions, namely over more muddy colors like off shades of white, dark blues, etc. It was incredibly distracting but I contacted Amazon who stayed on the line with me while we discussed possible solutions with ASUS and ultimately resulted in Amazon sending me a replacement unit in less than two days. The new unit has none of these issues and looks to be exactly what I was looking for in the first place. So good on both ASUS for making a decent laptop and Amazon for honoring the exchange.
Great quality laptop for the money. I bought the Ryzen 5/ 256GB SSD variant. At $479 in Nov of 2020, with a 15'6 screen, backlit keyboard with numeric keypad and these specs, this is a fantastic laptop for the money. The quality of the screen is great and the keyboard pretty comfortable. The sound is also remarkably good, in case you need to watch something through the built-in speakers.I installed Linux straight away, so I can't review its performance under Windows, but on Linux it works definitely great. This configuration means 8 cores, and everything got recognized and was working flawlessly from the start (at least on Arch Linux, you may get different results with more conservative distros). I haven't come around configuring and testing the fingerprint sensor yet though. My usage is mostly browsing, office tasks, watching movies and programming.I am not a gamer, but do play Minecraft with my son from time to time. It does work pretty well, once you reduce the max framerate from the default 160 or so to a more reasonable 30FPS. The video card setup is definitely not good if you plan to play other more graphics intensive video games, but for the ocassional game, this would also do.As other user reported, the looks are also great, surprisingly good at this price range. It does have some Macbook vibes, which is always nice, and definitely not expected at this price. My only negative remarks are that despite the extended keyboard, the insert key requires pressing the Function key, so there is an extra complication if you use the Ctrl+Ins, Shift+Ins for copy and paste. Also, as reported in other comments, out of the 8GB of RAM, 2 are dedicated to the video card, so you actually have 6GB for the system. Wait till you receive it, and open it to check if you have the one with a SODIMM module of 4GB. I did so and ordered an 8GB module for not much, to upgrade it to the max possible total of 12GB of RAM (10GB for the system). All in all, another perfectly rounded laptop by Asus. At this price and specs there is really no other competitor. Very satisfied with my purchase.I don't have time to write many reviews, but this laptop definitely deserved a good one.
This is the 3 Asus computers, on 9” xp, and one Asus 9” win 10 and now a new win 10 with everything
I was looking around for a laptop, including many more expensive options, before I settled with this one.The laptop is very fast with the NVMe M.2 SSD, with a disk benchmark, I was able to reach 1.6 GB (that is gigabytes, not gigabits) read speeds per second, and 900 MB/s write speeds per second.I got this on sale, and for under $600, a Ryzen 5 quad core, 8GB DDR4 ram and 256GB SSD, it is excellent value. Not to mention the great feel of the chiclet backlit keyboard. The performance of the Vega 8 integrated graphics, is better performance than any Intel integrated graphics would be. The fans is a little audible when running HD video or more intensive tasks, although still very quiet. The battery life is average, although it can be a little bit above average if you set your settings to battery saver. Still, it should last a few hours at the least. Just a quick note, there is 6GB usable RAM rather than 8GB, as 2GB is permanently allocated to the AMD Ryzen Vega 8 GPU. Also, when first turning on the computer, there is noticable backlight bleed on the bottom two corners of the screen, while the screen is on though, the screen has good picture. The pictures for this laptop does not do it justice, I was pleasantly surprised when I received the laptop - the laptop looks better in person than it is advertised! All in all, this is the best laptop one can get for the price, hands down. Definitely recommend it for anybody who is looking for a laptop that won’t put a dent in their wallet. Good job Asus.
