Eliminate Wi-Fi dead zones in time to turn your smart home into a haunted house with a discounted TP-Link AX5400 Wi-Fi 6 router.

Designed for three-bedroom houses, the AX5400 offers strong parental controls and basic network security protection—and it’s on sale from Amazon for 23% off the $199.99 price tag.

The 1.9-by-5.8-by-10.7-inch (HWD) Archer AX73 can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to the wall, its six non-removable adjustable antennas poking out the top. The front edge of the black textured enclosure holds seven LED indicators for power, both radio bands, Internet, Ethernet, USB connectivity, and WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) activity.

Around the back you’ll find four Gigabit LAN ports; a Gigabit WAN port; WPS, reset, and power buttons; and a power jack; as well as buttons for turning on or off Wi-Fi and front LEDs. A USB 3.0 port sits on the right side of the router.

Powered by a 1.5GHz tri-core processor, the dual-band AX5400 router can reach maximum data rates of up to 574Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and up to 4,804Mbps on the 5GHz band. Users can manage it via a web console—complete with NAT Forwarding, IPv6, and DHCP server settings—or TP-Link’s Tether mobile app for iOS and Android. The latter also provides access to an optional HomeShield subscription service for parental-control, device-prioritization, and network-security tools.
