If your current phone feels more like a doodler than a Da Vinci, it might be time for an upgrade. The Samsung Galaxy S24 is not just a phone; it’s a lifestyle upgrade, and it was unveiled during the Samsung Unpacked event in early January. With features like Circle to Search with Google and Nightography, it’s like having a personal assistant and professional photographer rolled into one sleek device. As the pre-order window closes on January 31st, it’s your last chance to place your order and get the new phone for a great price.

The Live Translate feature integrated in the phone is absolutely stunning, allowing users to communicate with anyone anywhere thanks to the near real time voice translations. And did we mention the 50MP camera the S24 is outfitted with? Even though this is the cheapest phone from the lot, you get a stunningly powerful camera that will capture vivid pictures. Plus, if there’s something you don’t particularly like, you can use the Generative Edit feature to move or remove objects in the image.
However, new phone price tags can be quite painful to see, so we’re excited to see that you can actually get a high-end phone for a great price. While we’re still weeks away from the first proper discounts, the deals that we’re seeing now are rather impressive. The Samsung Galaxy S24 has a recommended price of $859.99 for the 256GB version, but it can be purchased for as little as $249.99 at Samsung thanks to a mixture of trade-in credit and free storage upgrade.
Over at Amazon, the S24 comes with a free storage upgrade and a $50 gift card, while at Best Buy, you can get this one with a free storage upgrade, $600 in trade-in credit, and a $50 gift card. Plus, of course, the $60 discount that’s already applied to the device.

Older Samsung Smartphone Deals
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra was easily one of the best smartphones of 2023 and it’s easy to see why. As our review of the S23 Ultra noted at the time, the company took the kitchen-sink approach, throwing in every feature it could think of. Not only does this smartphone work super fast, but it also has great cameras, a sleek design, and enough screen to allow you to tackle any task you want.
If you still want a large phone but with more storage space and a friendlier price, then the Samsung Galaxy S23+ is a solid option. Our review of the S23+ highlights its big and vibrant display and fantastic camera system. This one’s a bit smaller than the S23 Ultra and doesn’t have a stylus, but still delivers super-fast app loading times, making it ideal for any productivity tools if you need to work while on the go.
This may be an older model of the Samsung Galaxy S series, but it’s still a great phone. At the time of its launch two years ago, we found it to be an excellent device, with top-notch connectivity and great performance. We considered it to be the “flagship Android phone to beat” and with good reason too.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 stands out as the best large foldable Android phone available right now, thanks to its impressive features and capabilities. Its sharp, dual screens offer a cinematic viewing and gaming experience, with the added benefit of S Pen compatibility for precision and productivity, as our review of the Z Fold 5 notes. The device’s multitasking software allows for seamless dual-app viewing and hands-free video calling in Flex Mode, making it an excellent option for users who need to stay connected and productive on the go. Additionally, the phone’s beautiful fit and finish, balanced weight, and five color options add to its appeal.
Samsung Galaxy A53

Samsung doesn’t just put out super expensive phones, but also budget-friendly options like the Galaxy A53. This model has a great screen and versatile cameras, while our review of the A53 notes that the battery life isn’t bad either. On the other hand, it doesn’t offer any wireless charging, so if that’s something you’re looking for, try a different model. Still, this is a great device for so little money, so you should definitely check it out if you’re not extremely picky.
