How to Check Privacy Report for Websites in Safari
To use this feature, you’ll need to make sure that your iPhone and iPad is running iOS 14/iPadOS 14 or later. Now, without further ado, let’s take a look at the necessary steps.
- Open “Safari” from the Dock on your iPhone or iPad.
- Now, head over to the website that you want to get a Privacy Report on. Tap on the “aA” icon on the left side of the address bar.
- Next, tap on “Privacy Report” located at the bottom of the dropdown menu. Here, you’ll be able to see how many trackers Safari has blocked on the particular website.
- Now, you’ll be able to see details like how many trackers have been blocked by Safari in the past 30 days and how many websites that you visited contacted trackers. In this menu, scroll down and tap on the current website as shown below to see what trackers are being contacted by the site.
- Now, you’ll be able to view all the trackers that are being contacted as you browse the site. You’ll likely find a lot of Google Trackers on a lot of the sites you visit, since they help in delivering targeted ads.
