Eyeing small and medium businesses around the world, Microsoft announced the general availability of Dynamics NAV 2016. The most recent version of dynamics comes tightly integrated with Azure cloud service, Dynamics CRM and Office 365.

Microsoft claims the release will empower workers at both, small and medium-sized businesses and augment their plans for growth. Besides, the new streamlined and easy to use native apps will enable mobile workers work practically on any factor form of devices like phones, tablets, keyboard and mouse – running Windows, Android or iOS.

One can find Microsoft Power BI dashboards and data connections in Dynamics NAV 2016 that give teams instant access to key performance indicators in a sensitive environment designed essentially for secure collaboration.

Microsoft marketing executive wrote in a blog post,

“With Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016, we are delivering what SMBs need with a business solution that is quick to deploy, easy to use, and has the power to support the growth ambitions of SMBs worldwide”.

Apart from all, the new release also offers expanded document management, workflow, and Optical Character Recognition capabilities, helping businesses eliminate the use of paper-based transactions. Microsoft says it has not limited the functionality of Dynamics NAV 2016 to its own cloud platform but gradually allows ERP software to be connected to other cloud-based services, if required.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 aims at automating and streamlining business processes for mid-sized organizations. It helps them manage their business, including finance, manufacturing and sales, shipping, project management, etc. with highly adaptable and rich features.
