Back in August 2011, we ran an article on the Internet Explorer team shipping a congratulatory cake to the Mozilla team upon releasing a new version of the Firefox browser and our question at the end was “When will Mozilla reciprocate!?” Well they just did in the exact same measure by sending over a cake to the Internet Explorer upon the launch of IE10, latest version of the browser from Microsoft.

A few days back, the IE team posted a picture of the cake on Twitter with a ‘We look forward to Firefox for #Windows8 soon’ message:

Interestingly, the size of the cakes sent over by IE Team to Mozilla seems to have shrunk by time, starting from a birthday cake to a cupcake. For old time’s sake, let’s have a look at the previous cakes sent by IE team to Mozilla.

Good to see Mozilla reciprocate the gesture – and lets hope that they keep up with the tradition.
