Three of these devices—the Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Stick, and Fire TV Cube—have earned PCMag Editors’ Choice awards for top media-streaming devices.
The Fire TV Stick 4K is now 30% off at just $34.99. Dubbed “the best media streamer you can buy for under $50” by PCMag, it may not look like much, but the 3.9-by-1.2-by-0.6-inch black plastic bar packs a real punch.
Plug it in to your TV for automatic access to Amazon services like Prime Music and Prime Video, as well as competing streaming services like Apple TV+, Crunchyroll, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, and Netflix. The matching remote—a rectangular wand with prominent navigation pad—features a pinhole microphone for interacting with Alexa; power and volume buttons also join menu and playback controls, allowing users to control their TV with just one remote.
The Fire TV Stick 4K Max adds Wi-Fi 6 compatibility, though we found that you probably won’t see a difference outside of very specific use cases. If you haven’t moved up to 4K yet, the non-4K Fire TV Stick offers the same features and design of the 4K versions for $10 less.
The Amazon Fire TV Cube, meanwhile, includes all the features of the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K, along with a far-field microphone array and infrared emitters to let you use Alexa and control your home theater entirely with your voice. The latest version includes a processor boost for quicker app loading, plus support for additional HDR formats.
On a budget? The Fire TV Stick Lite is the most affordable way to add streaming media and Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant to your 1080p TV. It looks and works just like the standard Fire TV Stick, but its remote lacks any TV controls.
Grab these deals now and binge The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Dopesick, or Heartstopper from your sofa, the in-laws’ house, a hotel room—wherever there’s an HDMI-compatible television.
For even more deals, Amazon Prime Day is scheduled for July 12 and 13; stay up to date here.
