★★★★☆ An instruction manual would be nice. No instruction manual at all! I’ve used Thinkware dashcams before, so I had an idea on how to set the unit up. AND IT STILL WAS A PAIN IN THE ARSE! Download a new app, Set up the WIFI, Update the software, Try and scan a blurry non working code, Figure a workaround for that, Download files for the red light photo and speed zones, Set the parameters for camera and driving features without knowing what they are……. Not Easy! YouTube videos helped somewhat… A simple instruction manual would have alleviated all this headache.Sound quality could be improved as well. But other than that, it’s a real nice working unit.

★★★★★ Much improved from previous models/app. I have an older Thinkware dash cam and decided to give them another try. The camera was always solid, but the app was a joke. Not a huge deal because I just took the card out and manually grabbed files when I wanted them. This version with their new app is much better, but still not an amazing app. Everything works as expected, video access is simple, and the video quality is still good. Just isn't very intuitive what they set in the options.It has an included rear camera as well which I didn't have before, perfect to run to the back of a crew cab truck rear window. I'd get this model again just for the video quality and video that records every time without thinking about it. Never had to use it for anything major yet, but I've looked at a few crazy drivers on playback, got everything I wanted to see.

The response time of both features are fast and alerts you right away. It notifies you when the signal changes and when the vehicle in front of you starts to drive off. I tend to get distracted easily when driving. The drivers behind can thank Thinkware for offering these features in their dash cams.Comes with a memory card.It is kind of nice that Thinkware included a memory card, most of the other brands don't come with one. 32GB of memory isn't a lot but at least I didn't have to hassle in buying one separately.I will update this review in a few months after I get in some use.

(It has never completed the loading whenever I check the videos on my computer.)Other than the above issues, everything is great: - easy to install, include hardwire setup- Recorded videos are put in separate folder depend on type: continuous, continuous incident, parking, parking incident, saved file. They are very easy to search on the dashcam or phone or put the micro sd card on computer.-Video quality is good.- Sensitivity of motion detection, G sensor is adjustable, it works for my purpose when the temperature is cool (like below 80F outside)-Traffic lights and front car departure detection work fine.

And you have to disc from the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth on your car in order to get onto the camera.But after a little bit of learning curve, it turns out it’s pretty good. The image and quality of the pictures is relatively impressive.

The video quality is great, I love the sleek design and the LCD touchscreen was intuitive and responsive, making it easy to use.The camera was simple to install after reading the instructions and watching videos online. The most time consuming part is hiding the wires. At first, I found connecting to the WiFi to be difficult, but after re-reading the instructions on how to connect, I realized that I was scanning the QR code incorrectly. At first, I was scanning the QR code with my camera, but you are suppose to scan the QR code in the mobile app. After realizing that, it was simple to connect to the settings and WiFi to view my videos.While the price is a little higher than other dash cams I was looking at, it is worth it due to the diverse built-in safety and smart driving alerts and the peace of mind it provides me while I’m driving. I highly recommend it!

The quality of video, front and rear cameras, PARKING MODE, PRICE, loop recording and ease of operation sealed the deal. Everything was explained in detail enough for me to understand what this camera did and what I needed to use it. Our first dash cam and I have to say we’re pleased.However, my husband’s camera is mounted in a one ton Dually and even with the incident sensitivity set to “low/lowest” - the incident warning beeps has him a bit annoyed. We live in Saskatchewan and our highways are atrocious to say the least. Needless to say the incident recording alarm goes off quite a bit. It could be a deal breaker for him. I’ll try to find online videos that may help with this.I haven’t gone anywhere in my vehicle yet. I hope I have a bit more luck.The connectivity, well, I’m gonna have to re-read that portion a few times. Not sure I’m understanding that. That’s about the only difficulty we had installing these dashcams.The app would be great to use.They’re a bit glitchy yet, not sure if that’s the operators fault or just a glitch. The main greeting when starting the vehicle is played only some of the times prior to our trip, leaving us wondering if it’s recording at all, but the we hit a bump and the incident warning bells go off lol.Being new to the world of dash cams, I’m hoping this is just a learning curve, time will tell I suppose. Super excited to get the kinks worked out I really like this set.

That being said this is OEM quality nice picture and works great. Very easy to install and looks functional and professional. Comes with a hard wiring kit with plenty of wire as well as cigarette lighter plug and GPS for speed and location. Even when it is not hot in the vehicle. Except it to last no more than a year before it craps out. On my third one.It is still the best dash cam I have found at a reasonable price.

★★★★☆ A Must Have. In today’s society, car manufacturers should be adding a visual surveillance system, in addition to the standard anti-theft alarm. There has been an increase in accidents, hit and runs, vandalism, and attempted theft.There has been an increased volume of tailgating lately causing rear end collisions. In some states, if someone hits you from behind, they are automatically at fault. Now there is additional support for the defense. They cannot say that you were driving recklessly. The proof is in the pudding.My current camera is the Dash Cam Mini 2 which I might add, has been reliable, but it lacked a rear camera. So, it was time to upgrade.There appears to be one problem regardless of manufacturer with these types of systems. That is the app. Cars of today have CarPlay capabilities which requires WiFi and Bluetooth. Unfortunately, so does the camera app. Connectivity is s major problem. Personally, I have to turn off my car stereo first to have access to the app.The downside side to this system is that you need to purchase a SD Card reader and connect it to your PC. My former camera provided a cable where one side would connect to the camera, and the other end via USB. The camera would come up as a storage device. Organization of files was easy.The cameras (front and back) are not as large as they appear to be in some of the photos. People are zooming in when taking the photo which makes it look like the camera is bigger. Rear view mirrors come in all lengths and widths, so it's difficult to make a determination on the actual size of the front camera.I am thankful that Thinkware included a cigarette lighter connection. This way, I am able to test the cameras and their full functionality before making the final installation. It would be a pain, and headache to have to uninstall due to failure. My connection will be directly to the fuse box.Upon completion of my installation, I will be returning and providing additional pictures and a video. Hopefully, my video will not be as dramatic as the couple that was hit on the driver’s side because the SUV next to them did not want to slow down because the SUV in front of him was making a left hand turn.Stay tuned.

It talks when the car turns on, beeps randomly but often.Could be worse at the price point, I guess, but it could be better too. I miss my old dash cam.

Overall I am extremely satisfied with the build quality, size, picture/video quality, and ease of installation.It has a very wide angle 1080p lens that picks up everything going on in front of the car. I have it hardwired to vehicle battery so that it is always recording upon motion detection. That hardwire kit is an added piece to the kit ($40), It does however come with a cigarette lighter adapter. The reason why I chose to go with the hardwire kit was because the cigarette lighter in my car only has power when the ignition is on. I wanted this camera to be able to monitor when my car was off and I was not inside it.This dashcam does not have a screen built-in so you don't have to worry about being sidetracked in the middle of the night while you're driving. Anytime you want to view what the camera has recorded, simply open the thinkware app and connect to your dash cam so you can view the footage. There is a memory card that it comes with as well. All video footage will be stored on there until you download it to your phone or computer. Night vision quality is above par, have no complaints about that it seems to pick up a lot of motion even from the other side of the street. You can adjust sensitivities and different settings inside of the app as well.The camera has 2 expansion ports as well. One of them is a GPS slot where you can plug in the optional GPS puck, usually goes for about $45 - $50 on Amazon, which would give you speed Telemetry and will warn you on any sort of red light cameras up ahead. When you park your car in the driveway at night, the GPS puck will pick up your Wi-Fi at home and will automatically update or download any new additions for red light cameras Within Canada or the United States, so that you are updated for the next day of driving.The other expansion port is for the rear camera, if you would like to purchase that. If you do buy it, it comes with a back 1080p camera with about 25ft - 30ft of cable that will plug into the dash cam the exact same way the GPS Puck plugs in.Lastly every time you get into the vehicle and you turn it on, the dashcam has an automated voice that will speak to you and it will let you know how many times it detected motion and how many times there was a recorded hit. Keep in mind any time you open or close the door, the trunk or the hood, the dashcam records it as a hit as well.

I do gig work and the importance of having a dash cam is a necessary part of my safety and peace of mind, so the choice has to be a top of line model with features that include high definition and easy of use, and like everyone else value. So I searched on Amazon and found this model with strong reviews so I decided to give it a try, and I have to say that I am impressed and very happy with my purchase.First off, the dash cam came in a well protected package and camera itself felt solid and made of high quality materials. A plastic pry tool is even included to help you get under your roof liner to run the necessary wires. Everything that you need to install is included and the instructions are actually good and clear.Secondly, I like the slender form of the camera which doesn't intrude into my line of sight while driving, but there is a very nice rectangular screen that displaying what the three lenses see. Yes 3 lenses, one facing forward, rear, and a cabin. The cabin is definitely a highly recommended feature. All the cameras record in HD with the front being 4K and the others 1080p.Thirdly, the rectangular screen displays all cameras, with the rear and cabin being off to the side of the left of the front view. There is even your speed in orange at the bottom right. Everything is easy to read and crisp.Fourthly, via Wifi the dash cam is linked to my phone, I haven't played with this feature too much yet but having real time video on my phone is a plus, and another check mark in the safety category. First let me Say I bought this camera to replace another camera (Redtiger ) that stop working in about a year.This camera has great video resolution and works well even in extreme heat. The App is easy to use and has Just enough features and options to allow you to set it up to your liking. Customer Service has been great. I registered the camera as soon ask installed it. Within a week customer service emailed me ask how the camera was working. I had a few questions about the cameras photo feature customer service addressed my concerns and answered my questions in very quick response. when I recently upgraded my phone I notice the app would not connect anymore Camera still worked properly. I contacted customer service and with in a couple of days an update came out and the app was back to working perfectly. Customers service is very quick to respond to your emails and help with any questions or issues you may have. The camera does get hot, but even when my cars interior would get upwards over 150* in the summer the camera would always work. I just hope it continues to work this well.

Vantrue N4 Pro 3 channel 4K front and rear dash cam are clear winner in almost all aspects. The 4k image quality of the videos are exceptional. Connectivity with my mobile phone is always smooth. Lots of configurations available to suit my specific preferences. I love these Vantrue cams so much that we bought another set for another car after the first week of using the first set. I think the price-performance ratio is very high. The packaging is very high quality, which included everything I need and a very detailed instructions booklet inside (which is good for people of old school like me) though you could download it online. I bought the Ventrue hardwire kit too in order to provide constant power for parking surveillance while giving smart low voltage protection. Overall, Ventrue N4 Pro is a premium product at very reasonable price. Will definitely recommend it to my friends.Besides the quality of the product, their Customer Service Team is also exceptional. I messed something up myself by accident so I raised an issue to their team. Liki from the team was very responsive, efficient and helpful, who addressed my issue immediately. I'm super happy with the overall experience.

★★★★★ I was looking for a dashcam system to upgrade my old single channel dashcam. This dashcam system suited my needs. The 3 channels provides complete coverage in the front, back, and the inside with excellent video quality in both day and night. Been using it for a few days and all I can say is that I'm impressed. Comes with lots of features, like GPS and voice control. Voice control is pretty responsive, but sometimes might not pick up the command. Not a big issue though since I don't use the voice control that much.Connecting to the dashcam via the app is really simple. Although the dashcam has a screen, the live preview from the phone made setting up the dashcam position so much easier. Easily view and download the video clips from the app, and downloading clips over the 5GHz wifi is quite quick too. All the settings can also be set from the app, which makes changing settings so much easier than setting on the dashcam itself (though you can still do that). This dashcam will record 3 separate files (front, rear, and cabin), so be sure to get a large memory card.You might think you don't need a interior cabin camera, but let me tell you, the interior cabin camera is not just for rideshare drivers. Sometimes the police can make mistakes and might accuse you of something you didn't do. But you need evidence to prove your innocence. If the police pulls you over because they think you were looking at your phone while driving but you were not, then you have video proof from the cabin camera proving you were not on your phone. The interior cabin camera angle is wide enough to capture the movements of the driver and passenger, and even backseat passengers (depending on where you install it). Or if the police says you or your passenger weren't wearing your/their seatbelt when you/they actually were, then you have video proof of that as well. Or if you get robbed in the car, you have video of the criminal's face. These things can be hard to prove in court, so having video evidence here will be very useful. Having been burned before because I didn't have interior camera to record my actions to prove myself innocent, I cannot stress enough the importance of protecting yourself these days, whether from the police or from other cars or people, and having this dashcam system will be super useful in proving your innocence.Only con I have about this is the slow start up. It takes maybe about 7-8 seconds after starting the car and the power port becomes active before the dashcam will boot up. Not a big problem for me though.Overall, a great dashcam with excellent quality and features, and I'm happy that I've invested in this dashcam to give me the peace of mind knowing I have protection in case an incident happens. You cannot go wrong with this dashcam.

If you don't connect the rear camera, it won't show up on the display screen, which is nice. ★★★★★ I have owned several dashcams over the years. this is the first one where the app and the wifi actually works and I can review and download the footage on demand without having to go home and load the microSD card into a computer.The app also adds very handy info to the downloaded recordings showing the route travelled.Install was easier than expected even running the cable to the rear of my vehicle for the rear view camera was simple and the adhesive mount is much nicer than the suction cup mounts used by many cameras.the footage is clear, sharp and smooth. just as it should be.I really like the 3 in 1 camera system, I just wish the interior camera had a bit wider of an viewing angle to catch what is going on outside the side windows better.

We purchased the F7N Redtiger camera about 18 months ago and it has now paid for itself 100x over when it provided evidence to the police and insurance that my wife was not the one at fault in an accident that totaled her vehicle and the other party lied to the police. My wife was going to get the ticket after the officer talked to the other party first, but she was able to show the officer the cam video and they reversed course and issued the ticket to the other party. It is very easy to use and install. You don't have to be technical to do it. It will take you probably 10-15 minutes to get it done. Functionality is great, with many options on the settings to play around depending what you need.Now to the main part of the customer service. After a bit over 2 years of use, the camera started to play around. It would keep turning on and off randomly. At some points, it would be on without recording. I check it for few days/weeks hoping it would stop but nothing changed. So I contacted their customer support to help me troubleshoot the issue. In my great surprise, I received a reply from the within 24 hours with step by step checks to do to ensure if the issue is with the camera or set up(memory card faulty, cables cut etc.). After checking everything and realising that everything is connected properly, the customer support offered me a camera replacement! Betreibe es mit einer 256gb sd Karte.Fazit: kein Schnäppchen aber super Qualität. Der Saugnapf hält gut an der Scheibe. Man muss nur beim Ersteinbau (nicht mit Steinbau verwechseln) beide Seiten gut mit Alkohol abwischen, das hilft. Muss am Alkohol liegen 😆

I installed the camera kit in a Sorento 2025. the provide wire for the rear camera in the ward-wire kit is adequate length by fishing the wire underneath the scuff plate without removing trim. Everything you need comes in the kit. Even the fuse holder that works flawlessly and rapidly. I was amazed by the small multimeter/test light being provided in the hard-wired kit the work like a charm. Great quality video with the front and the rear camera. The Rove app is user friendly and you do not need university degree to be able to navigate and setting up all the parameters via your phone. Whit the built in wifi it is easy to access your footage in case of emergency or provide as proof of imbecility of other drivers 😇. The built in gps provides precise positioning wen properly enter the gps tine zone.

The cameras were easy to install, and the front cam mounts well behind the rearview mirror and is relatively hidden. The video quality is as expected and I have not had any issues with reliability. The app does suck, but all dash cam apps do. I don't mind popping out the SIM card if I want to pull footage. I was a little surprised to find that the only power cord other than the hardwire kit is for a 12v cigarette lighter. I wanted to plug it into a USB. I worked around this with a 12v to USB-A adapter on Amazon.

No difficulty at all. I had a Garmin DC57 before this, and it doesn’t even compare. Just be patient the first few times trying to get everything synced up and online. Good features on the app for setting up power saving/record triggering as well. My only complaint is that I'd rather it not speak to me every single time I start my car. A simple beep or tone to let me know it's recording would be nicer.

As too many people can attest to, it seems like no matter where you go the drivers are just absolutely out of their minds. Knowing I have video proof that should I get into an accident, it wasn't my fault, or that if at some time I get into a hit-and-run, I'll have the offender's plates! Directly wiring this into my car was easy, connecting by the app was simple, and I feel better knowing the status of my car each time I get in the vehicle.

Tried to download several videos tonight and despite the app saying they downloaded, they were not in my Gallery. Good video quality but typical junk user experience as common with most dash cams. Very clunky, poorly developed firmware and phone apps. Very disappointed for a dash cam at this price point. I only expect two things from a dash cam... 1: record 2: download. Shouldn't be that difficult in 2023.

I've come to realize, the unit cannot keep time and everytime the dashcam is booted, the date and time changes to some date way into the future. This is makes it very difficult to find the correct footage based on date and time. I emailed customer support and jumped through all the hoops as they wanted and in the end all they can say is that they've tried everything they could and I'm SOL because the warranty expired a few months ago. DO NOT PURCHASE.

So now I have to have three apps on my phone so I can see the one in my work van and the one in my personal car. Why wouldn't Think ware use one app for all their cameras. Not impressed with the Q1000 camera I got...

Too much hassle to get it working right.And, just moved to android auto, these two things cant get along if you need to check your recording. I end up using wired android auto, and it worked nicely again.

I'd argue it's unfit for purpose and false advertising on account of the poor quality and unreliability.This product is horrific to link to and manage with app. It constantly drops link, fails to link, repeats over and over and over “insufficient memory” but won’t let you link to delete videos. Cannot access videos. What is the point in this trash if you can’t access recordings in an event? Awful UI/software. Cannot achieve the most important function. Have to take the memory card out and spend 40mins with support to format the card and manually install firmware on the card to fix the camera.
