Good Camera. The video quality is good, not great. However, it gets the job done. The installation is easy if you’re not wiring it. However, get done by a professional so you don’t run the risk of ruining your system.
Great working camera. The media could not be loaded.  Great working camera. So easy to install any videos to you phone or tablet. It does stop recording if you are previewing videos or watching live on another device. I also found out it records voice inside, you hear everything once you download and watch, it also smooths out the video when you download it. Overall a very nice front and rear camera for when one of you speeders hit me I’ll be able to prove it was not my fault.
Maybe the best for 1080p. The video quality is good but a little on the bright side, which is configurable. The only thing stopping this cam from getting a 5/5 is the app. The app you have to use for this dashcam is horrible. However, once configured, you really only have to connect to it when you want to copy videos to your phone. The videos are recorded in a span of 1-minute intervals. I kind of wish this was configurable, too. The nighttime video capture is good as well. I just wish the app was better built and more user-friendly.
Best dash camera. I bought this camera not expecting a lot as I have had some terrible experience with other cameras but the thinkware surpassed every expectation. I also got the gps sensor and the OBD2 power plug. The camera was easy to install, setup and use (powers on and off with the ignition). Video quality is amazing. With the app and wifi connection it is super easy to view and download videos.I have an M1 sports camera by thinkware and found customer service to be out of this world.I highly recommend this camera to everyone!!!
Front works great but rear will fail soon after warranty expires. Overall this is a decent dashcam. The picture quality is quite good on both the front and rear cameras. The app is relatively easy to use. The issue I've had is two rear cameras fail, both times right after the one year warranty was over. Thinkware support couldn't determine the exact reason why they failed. Could possibly be the constant heat from Phoenix summers but I would hope that something designed to be in a vehicle would be designed to withstand the temperature fluctuations that vehicles experience.
24 Month Update. 24 month update:Still going strong; both cameras and the heavy duty micro SD card. Good visuals and audio of constant recording. If you use the car diagnostic plug for power source make sure to check the camera connection after taking your car to the repair shop. Sometimes those guys don’t put the plug back in and you’ll lose power to the camera. Just make sure to check the plug is inserted properly for constant power./////////////:::///:::::;;;;;;;;;;;;))))))))))I had the Pro 200 for two years along with the Extreme micro SD card. It has performed flawlessly- both front and back rear cameras. I attribute the performance due to the commercial upgrade SD card.It has been in my windshield in FL, SC, NC, and VA in direct sunlight. What’s more, in the summertime I install a silver heat reflecting screen to reduce interior heat. The camera is trapped between the screen and the windshield in direct sunlight. It must be over at least 120 deg F.IF, and I’d there’s a suggestion (like all card readable tools) the Thinkware software can stand some improvement. But as an engineer my theory is that SW is never FOC. It’s always IOC, always overly expensive, and labor intensive. Just run with it.If you’d looking for a solid dual cam setup this is the one.BTW, I did buy the external power cord plug that fits into the diagnostic car system. The fuse box connection made me Squamish on car warranty should an electric problem arise.Good luck
Works great! No distraction from screen. I have had several dashcams in my truck now and I have found that the screen inside the car can be distracting at night and is not useful outside of configuration (that is usually not very intuitive onscreen anyway); this dashcam is small and discreet, and has no bright light in the cabin at night. The picture quality is pretty good, and the 'Pro' kit included the hardwire and plug in adapter. Overall, I am quite happy with this dashcam. My only complaint is that the GPS antenna was not included and had to be purchased separately.
Very good and reliable. This is better than BlackVue. Has built in battery for parked vehicles
We bought this after reviewing more than 20 different models. We found amazing deal on Amazon with better price. It fits so well front and back both. It has high resolution and clear vision at night as well. Highly recommended!!
Works well, fairly easy install, good tape, decent camera quality. The speaker sounds terrible and I'm in the process of talking to customer support to see if there's an issue with my unit
Easy to set up and use. Has a good field of view and I really like the motion detection setting and the parking setting.
Using is for a while. Other people that I know have this brand. Very good brand and video quality is good.True specifications unlike most of cheap cameras that claim to be great but in reality not good.
My husband liked it, this is our 2nd one

A bit time consuming to install, but a great little camera. This took me about two hours to set up on my car, but most of that was spent hiding cords. The camera itself, was pretty easy to put in. I set up the front first, got it right up on the windshield making sure to use the phone app as a camera guide so I can make sure I put the camera in a place where it has the best view of the road. The camera itself is small enough that it is sort of almost hidden by my rear view mirror. Once it was in place, it was time for the all time consuming hiding of the wires. I used the one that just goes into the cigarette lighter spot in the car. I have zero experience hard wiring, so I know that was out of the question for me. Kind of sad, because that is the only way, I believe, you can use the parking features. I just am not experienced for that kind of thing.I do have to say, the little tool to hide the wires was useful. I do have to adjust a few, but they seem to be staying put for the time being. The back up camera was pretty easy too, again I used the phone so I could see the best place on the back window to put the cameras. As for the app, it’s user friendly enough. The picture quality is great, the camera tells me to have a safe drive, which is nice, and it records without me needing to do anything. So far I have not come across any problems. You do have to be in the car with the car on to access the memory. But you can download any video onto the app memory which you can access from your phone at any time even away from the car. Mine records in about 60 second increments. So my ten minute drive to work happens in 6 segments. I think it will make it easy to access specific portions of the drive rather than speeding through a long video. All in all, it’s a good dash cam, if not a bit overpriced for not having an lcd screen. If you have it hotwired to your car, it has way more features that would be well worth it though.
Great Camera, but Safety Features Feel Like a Gimmick. Overall, I have come to like this camera very much. Installation was roughly the same as any other setup, although I would strongly recommend buying a fuse tap kit if you intend to hardwire the camera instead of wrapping the wire around the fuses as suggested in the manual.Pros- Easy to use mobile app, which can be used to view/save footage without a computer.- Great camera quality, especially on the front camera. The rear is okay.- Parking mode is super useful if someone hits your car!Cons- Capturing moving license plates is okay, but plates can be hard to read when above 20mph.- Avertised safety features are honestly useless as far as I have seen. They tend to randomly go off when parked or in drive-thrus and even after changing the settings- The value for the money is not there, as this camera advertises heavily these safety features which are essentially useless. Thus, the camera is overpriced compared to similar options.- The mobile app is SLOW. It has this weird thing where it uses both Bluetooth and Wifi depending on what you are doing, and so it can take like 2 minutes to log into the app, another 5 minutes to find the footage as there are no thumbnails, and then another minute or two to download the footage.
a good performance and the price dropped since I got it. I installed this dash cam on one of the vehicles we use at the charity where I volunteer. After a week, I am quite satisfied with its performance. My main focus was to get a cam that provides clear images day and night, which this model delivered in my opinion. You can also set different recording modes like continuous, incident, manual, motion detection, and energy-saving recording. Please note that while it will continuously capture video even when the memory storage gets low, it will delete older segments to make room for new footage. In addition, I liked that it comes with an automatic shut-off function in extreme temperatures, which might be useful especially when you live in hot zones like Texas. Hopefully, this function won’t be needed too much where I live.A great way to protect the charity's property from any accidents and events. But this hasn’t been used long enough for me to comment on its longevity, and if this one breaks on us rather unexpectedly, I will update my review.
Complete garbage. Installation was easy but it's total garbage. Anytime you try to watch video it's won't play past 6 seconds and crashes the app. I've had it for a few hours and it's already done it multiple times.I changed the time zone and it won't record any more. I absolutely hate this thing already. Complete waste of money.
App doesn't work. I'm a long time Android user that couldn't get the app to work. It looks like a good dashcam but there's no screen at all so I have to take the Micro SD card out to view the footage.
So far, so good. This is a really nice dashcam with great picture quality. The only reason I removed one star is because it is necessary to download an app and I haven;t figured out how to turn off all the assorted chiming and talking. I hate apps for simple devices like this as I am never sure what is happening with my data. As for the annoying audio noises, I thought I had them all shut off but I am still getting random ones and the app menu system is a bit difficult to navigate. You'll need to make educated guesses on what some of the menu items do.My little annoyances aside, it is an extremely full-featured dashcam with various options for parking monitoring, battery saver, recording to an SD card, etc. I like the included GPS for displaying speed and direction. I really wish it plugged in with a USB connector, but it has it's own dedicated 12V cigar lighter power to DC barrel connector. I had a prior dashcam and it was powered by USB C so I had to rerun a new power feed for this one instead of reusing the old one.It includes quite a few mounting options and pretty much everything else you need for a good, clean installation. If it wasn't for the necessity of an app to use it and the annoying audio, this is a solid 5 star product. If those are things that don't bother you, this is a very good dashcam.

Edit***Let's see how CS fixes my issue. Finally got this to work again without the beeping and error. Customer service has been great with following up with me on this issue but as of right now it looks like everything is working as it should.Purchased this 8/2023 and had it a few weeks prior to installation. Once in stalled and upgraded the micro SD card to a bigger capacity, the camera was great. Now, 8 months after having no issues, it all of a sudden is giving me a red error that there is a card issue and needs to reboot. I remove the card after rebooting the camera several times without success, and I erased the card. No problems looking at the videos on the card etc while in my laptop. I reinsert it and same error comes up. Just got off the phone with customer support and I am sending them an email with all of the info plus a photo of the SD card. We will see how they respond and if the issue gets resolved. I hope to change my overall star rating from a 2 to a 5.
Great Dashcam. Fabulous Customer Service! Insufficient Parking Mode Instructions (read below). Purchased this for my wife's RAV4. I like having both the front and rear cameras and love how compact they are; they are fairly unobtrusive in both locations. The front camera is mostly behind the rear-view mirror (the camera is small enough to easily fit entirely behind the mirror, but the car's OEM black box against the windshield is already occupying the ideal real estate). The rear camera is tucked up at the top of the rear window (just at the top of the rear wiper sweep area) and is barely noticeable. I liked that I could rotate the rear camera in its holder to the view angle I wanted. The cable length on the rear camera was more than sufficient to reach front-to-back in this car (and easily tucked away behind the headliner and other trim pieces), but I'm not sure if it would be enough for a full-size SUV like an Excursion. It does have an inline connector near the rear camera which was convenient when installing the rear camera and running the wire and may allow for an extension to be used. The video quality looks great. I set my front resolution down to 1080p since I feel that will be sufficient for our day-to-day needs. In my opinion, the quality of the footage will be impacted more by how clean the glass is and the weather conditions outside than the quality of the cameras.I like that I can set whether and how long the screen is visible when the dashcam is on. Most of the time, I prefer to have the displays screen off. It takes some clicking to get through all of the menus, but I found the UI intuitive and easy enough to use.The included lighter adaptor worked fine, but I got the hardwire kit (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WCTZ3Y8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) to run permanently and to enable Parking Mode (see note below).I also got the 3M Mount (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09SFY13TZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) so I could mount the camera a bit higher behind the rear-view mirror. I'll use the suction mount and lighter adaptor when using the dashcam on trips in a rental car. You'll want to get a larger (e.g. 256 GB) High Endurance U3 SD card (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P4HBRMV?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) as the included SD card is only U1.NOTE on the hardwire kit and Parking Mode: I connected the wires as instructed (yellow->BATT, red->ACC, black->GRD) but did not see the behavior I was expecting from the dashcam: the dashcam immediately turned on even though the ACC power was off, and I could not turn on Parking Mode. This led me to believe that the documentation was wrong, so I reversed the red and yellow wires which resulted in the dashcam not turning on until ACC power was on and allowing me to set Parking Mode (or so I thought), so I felt that I had figured it out. However, I then realized that the dashcam would not stay on - it never recorded any footage while the car was on (or off). Gratefully, I found a Q&A response from "Elizabeth B" back on 10/7/2021 which explained how to properly set up Parking Mode (which doesn't appear to be documented anywhere with either product):1. Connect wires as described above (Yellow = constant 12v, Red = switched 12v, Black = ground).2. Turn on acc power (but do not start engine).3. Press menu button and select "Parking".4. While blue message box is shown on the F7N display, turn off acc power (this has to be timed well). You should see a new blue message box and the F7N unit will power off.5. Turn acc power back on (but do not start engine).6. Press menu button and select "Parking".7. You will now see the menu options for Parking Mode and be able to configure it how you like.credit: Elizabeth B.(Attention REDTIGER: You should include these steps in your documentation and compensate Elizabeth.)After reverting my wire connections back to match the documentation and following the steps above, my hardwired dashcam is now functioning perfectly - including Parking Mode.Even though my installation and set-up experience with the hardwire kit wasn't ideal, I do have to say that the REDTIGER customer service was outstanding! They were responsive, proactive, and empowered to do the right things for their customers. Thank you Nora!As for the apps, the Android app seems to work sufficiently well. It does take a LONG time to download the video files over the dashcam's wi-fi. I prefer to remove the SD card and copy the files directly to my PC.I'm not very impressed with the PC app (Windows 10) yet. I tried it only once, but it seemed to have a hard time after viewing the first video, and even that wasn't great. It's intended to show both front & rear video simultaneously, which I think is great, but I haven't been able to get it work very well. I'll try again and see if I can get it run better. I was surprised to discover that the rear camera records audio, so it doesn't sound great when both front and rear audio are played at the same time. I muted the rear audio and used just the front audio. The video files run just fine on third-part video players.Bottom line: I love the dashcam and rear camera; easy to use; good video; absolutely fabulous customer service.
Great picture, easy to use, small size, simple to use app, great deal. After driving myself crazy reading lots of reviews, I decided to purchase the RedTiger F7N dual channel dash cam. Set up is very easy. I tested it on my desk at first and then installed it. The directions are easy peasy. No one will have any problems. Image quality is excellent, transfer to my phone is easy.I had a question and tech support by Larina responded very promptly and answered my questions with the answers I wanted to hear.I very highly recommend RedTiger as a company. Their products are excellent and their tech support is top notch!
The EDTIGER Dash Cam Front Rear is a solid choice for those seeking comprehensive coverage on the road. Bra
I recently upgraded to the Redtiger F7N-Plus 4K front and rear camera, and I'm thoroughly impressed by its performance. This dashcam offers a remarkable combination of high-quality video capture, seamless installation, and advanced features that provide peace of mind on the road. The 4K resolution delivers crystal-clear footage, ensuring that every detail is captured with precision. Whether it's capturing license plates or identifying road hazards, the clarity of the video is unparalleled. The addition of a rear camera further enhances the coverage, providing complete protection from all angles.Setting up the Redtiger F7N-Plus was a breeze, thanks to its intuitive interface and straightforward installation process. Within minutes, I had the camera up and running, ready to capture every moment of my journey. The included 32GB SD card offers ample storage space, and the loop recording feature ensures that I never run out of storage, even on long drives. One feature that sets the Redtiger F7N-Plus apart is its advanced parking mode. With motion detection and impact sensors, the dashcam automatically records any incidents that occur while the vehicle is parked, providing valuable evidence in the event of vandalism or theft. Please note you do need the hardwire kit to use the parking mode feature.Overall, the Redtiger F7N-Plus 4K front and rear camera with 32GB SD card is a must-have accessory for any vehicle owner concerned about their security on the road. Its exceptional video quality, easy installation, and advanced features make it a top choice in the market and overall is great value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their vehicle's safety and security.I hope you found this review helpful.

Solid performance for 20 months. I got this camera (F7N) in February 2022. I wanted hidden wiring but I wasn't interested in parking mode so I didn't buy the hardwire kit. Instead, I bought an inexpensive aftermarket power socket (cigarette lighter socket) from Amazon and wired it in under my dash (with a fuse) connected to the wire that goes to the existing socket, so they both come on when the key is turned to accessory mode. I ran the factory power cable down into the dash just like you would a hardwire kit and just plugged it in out sight. It's been working great for 20 months. It's my first dashcam and I'm generally very happy with it.Pros:- Reasonable price- Nice pictures and can easily read license plates and street signs in the front. No front plates in my state so not much chance to read them behind.- It's been reliable, comes on, goes off, does its thing.- It has a lot of setting options and toggles (what to show and not show as far as speed, location, audio, etc.). The buttons and settings are fairly intuitive.- It is reasonably small and unobtrusive. With glare/reflection on the windshield it's almost impossible to see and even when not, it's not very noticeable.- The static sheet mounting system that sticks to the window with no adhesive has worked great. It's never come loose in two Georgia summers. I prefer it over the suction cup.- It can hold a 256 GB SD card. The front and back cameras together use up a bit over 1.2 GB every five minutes, so about 15 GB an hour. So the card will hold about 15 hours or a bit more.Cons:- I did have some trouble with needing to reformat the SD card quite a few times in the first few months. It would give four long beeps when something was wrong. But I figured out that what really helped was putting the card directly in my Windows computer and running chkdsk on it in the DOS box as an administrator. That appears to have fixed file problems on the card itself and things have been way smoother since then. I can't remember having to reformat anymore (or possibly once).- Every once in a while my phone has trouble connecting to the Wifi. Some tinkering (turn off turn on, retry, etc.) has usually fixed it. It might be solved now.- (Former con, now fixed) Very echo-y audio.- (Former con, now fixed) No Daylight Savings Time adjustment. Had to change time zone.My camera is 20 months old and I finally thought to look for a firmware update. My firmware was about a year and a half out of date so I installed the updated version last week. My sound problems went away and I now have a Daylight Savings Time setting to toggle it on and off. It's not an automatic change but I'm happy. The whole layout of the interface changed, too, and the WiFi connection seems very smooth so far.I also found out there is now a Redtiger app. When I bought mine I was just using the Ucam app. The Redtiger app seems to perform pretty well and is more sophisticated than the Ucam app (and just looks nicer). It also has one additional screen view (front only, back only, front primary/back secondary, back primary/front secondary). I think the Wifi speed might be better. At least it plays non-downloaded videos smoother.Just yesterday I added the hardwire kit for parking mode after I got hit in a parking lot last month. Redtiger was nice enough to send me one because my camera has the old micro USB connector instead of the current USB C connector that they use and sell now. I've only had it 24 hours but it worked flawlessly last night and didn't drain my battery. I installed it my own way, not through the fuse box as intended, but I didn't have any problems getting it to work. The attached fuses weren't the correct type for my car anyway so I cut them off and wired it in to my existing system like I did with my other power cord using my own fuses. There was one error message on initial startup but the internet told me how to make that one go away. You basically have to train it that you are now hard-wired. After that it's been great (for one day).My F7N has the weather-proof rear camera and I have it mounted above my license plate next to the backup cam I also installed. It's a great view and both have worked great in that position, although running the wiring into the trunk was kind of a pain. In the long run I think it was worth it. I tried velcroing it at the top of the rear window but it kept falling down and I didn't want to do any permanent modifications inside the passenger compartment. It also gave a very distorted view. My small trunk looked like it was about 8 feel long. I'm happier with it on the outside.
Fantastic Dash Cam AND Customer Service. *****UPDATE*****I bought this dashcam in Feb 2022 and as mentioned in my initial and amended review, I received outstanding customer support. I want to reporrt that almost two years later, this dashcam is working FLAWLESSLY. I have never had an issue and it has served me very well. I do not need a new dashcam, but if I did, the REDTIGER F7N 4K dashcam would be my choice. It was money well spent. And for full disclosure, REDTIGER does not know I am writing an update; I only thought of it because my friend down the street asked if I had a dashcam and, if so, what brand/model? Easy answer and recommendation. I hope he is as happy as I have been!I've wanted a dashcam for my 2015 Chrysler Town & Country for the longest time. I did a ton of research before buying and delayed purchasing for quite some time. While I'm sure some of the competitor models are good, I finally decided on the REDTIGER 4K front/rear dashcam. I liked this one for the features and the great feedback I saw. REDTIGER dashcam shows very clear images, has Bluetooth and GPS capability, and a parking mode if hardwired (I didn't do that part yet, but I'm about to). Installation is on the right side of the rear view mirror and that actually is good since you don't want to be gawking at the camera and not at the road. I just connected it to my iPhone today using the UCAM app and it worked flawlessly. Great field of view, clarity, and smoothness. If I wanted to take a photo or save the video, it was just a press of a button on the phone. I was very impressed.Installation was ridiculously simple and that part startled me because I am not usually adept at this type of thing. Except for the 2-3 inches of wires by camera, the wiring is totally invisible. I do recommend going on YouTube and watching how to install the rear camera on a hatchback to get the wiring in the correct location.Customer service was exceptional!! I had purchased the dashcam for $149.99 along with a hardwire kit to use the cam in parking mode that was paired with the cam for another $18.99. The dash cam comes with a 32GB mini-card, but I upgraded to a 256GB mini-card. Well, the paired hardwiring kit had the wrong plug so it had to go back. While looking on Amazon, I saw a new deal for the exact same REDTIGER 4K dashcam for $118.99. I asked Amazon for a credit, but they said I had to return the unit and reorder. So I reordered the dashcam, but I decided to wait on the wiring. The new unit came in the next day, but it did not have the 32GB mini card. I received an email from Ms. Shelly, REDTIGER representative, who was concerned that I had a poor experience. I explained that wasn't true; I simply couldn't get a credit from Amazon. I told her the hardwiring kit wasn't correct and the mini-card was missing on the new unit. Ms. Shelly from REDTIGER immediately apologized profusely and said the company would make it right. She was professional, patient, and knowledgeable - very customer service-friendly. I asked about an extention cable to the rear of the van and the cost because I wasn't sure the supplied rear camera cable would be long enough (I hadn't installed it yet). But REDTIGER company promptly sent me one free of charge! As it turns out, the original cable was just long enough, but if I decide to reconfigure the cable location, this extension will come in handy. Oh, and they also gave me a new hardwiring kit free, AND gave me a credit for the missing 32GB mini-card, even though I said it was ok because I had purchased the 256GB card. I offered to pay for the wires up front, but they wouldn't hear of it. The point is that REDTIGER, through Ms. Shelly, provided OUTSTANDING and PROMPT customer service. They didn't have to reach out, but they did. They didn't have to be concerned, but they were. They didn't have to provide the accessories for free, but they wouldn't take no for an answer. They went out of their way to make it right, and they weren't even the ones at fault!! And Shelly is simply the BEST!! She demonstrated the company really cares.I cannot speak to the folks who didn't enjoy this dashcam, and here's hoping it works for a long time (it's not even close to hot outside yet). But I am absolutely thrilled with both the cam and the company. I highly recommend this brand and trust me, it usually takes a lot for this old Air Force retiree to recommend anything - this was my experience. Sure glad I bought this REDTIGER dash cam.ADDENDUM: After about 6 weeks, I did experience an issue with the camera not synching with my new phone. I contacted REDTIGER and Ms. Shelly was genuinely concerned and immediately sent me a new unit. This new dash cam works perfectly and I am grateful for the absolutely OUTSTANDING customer service AFTER the sale. This is the customer service one would expect from all sellers, but we all know that doesn't always happen. I mean, how many times have you read where customers got stiffed because it was after the return window? I can testify that mine was after the return window, too - But REDTIGER stands by their product and made it right without any hassles. They just took care of the problem. My new unit arrived exactly 24 hours after the conversation with Shelly. I stand by my earlier comments that I am so glad I bought the REDTIGER dash cam. This one is working just fine.
This is a great dashcam, easy to install, but you will also need to order a microSDXC U3/V30 card to record the video. Comes with a cigarette lighter adapter, but opted to go for the hardwire kit. I found the cable a foot short, but the great support at REDTIGER remedied the situation with a longer kit. Out of the box, it has everything you need to install it (minus the microSDXC card). The video quality is excellent front and back, the park feature works great. Love that you can adjust settings directly through the built-in screen and really have not needed to use the app. Great value for the price and service you get from REDTIGER.The REDTIGER player is actually pretty good for being able to view your videos with all the key details such as speed, GPS data, various map options, snapshot, max speed, average speed. distance and export of GPS data. Compared to Dashcam Viewer, there isn't that much of a difference other than the latter isn't free if you want certain features, but the REDTIGER Player has everything you need for free. For an inexpensive Dashcam, I highly rate the REDTIGER F7N, but certainly they have a lot of other great Dashcam options available. The product support is excellent.
I’ve been using the REDTIGER F7N 4K Dual Dash for the past six months, and it has truly exceeded my expectations. The dashcam offers superb video quality, both during the day and at night, capturing clear and detailed footage, providing comprehensive coverage of the road. The installation process was straightforward, and the user-friendly interface made it easy to navigate through the various features.A few months into using the dashcam, I encountered a minor issue with the device. I reached out to the Dashcam support team, and I must say, their customer service is top-notch. They were prompt, courteous, and extremely helpful. The issue was resolved very quickly, and I was back on the road with my dashcam functioning perfectly. The support team’s efficiency and dedication to customer satisfaction have made me a loyal customer. I highly recommend the REDTIGER F7N 4K Dual Dash to anyone in need of a reliable and high-quality dashcam. It’s a great investment for peace of mind on the road, backed by a support team that truly cares about their customers.
Me encantó .
Hangt in m’n auto ben er zeker heel blij mee, nu ben ik zeg maar verzekerd voor de voor en achterkant dat er sowieso beelden ervan zullen zijn
after looking for dash cameras on this price range I found the REDTIGER f7N and I have been very happy. instalation was easy, the camera came with all that you need to get it going (except the Memory card), clear instructions and a QR codes that you could use for how-to videos. it comes with front cam, back cam and after I bought it I was contacted by the customer service team to receive (free of charge) the dedicated HW kit needed for 24h Parking Monitor and Time-lapse functions. the Front camera has a wide angle and the screen is nice and clear. no complicated menus on the screen, easy to set and forget. the back camera you can instal inside the car or if you have extra time you can instal it outside the car for better image quality. I recommend this camera and give kudos to the costumer service team which proactively contact me with extra options

Good camera. Good quality dash cam for your car at all affordable price
Nice dashcam. Easy to install. I replaced my old DashCam with this one. So far it’s working good.
Doesn’t come with hardwire kit. I bought a Thinkware camera for myself last year and it came with a hardwire kit. So I bought this camera for my GF for her birthday and just assumed it came with the wire too because it specifically states “parking mode ready”.Two weekends later I get a spot cleared out in my shop and we both have the day off of work so I can put this camera in for her. Open the box and no hard wire kit!! I just had to order one separately and it was $30.00!!!!! Not happy. Only leaving 4 stars because Thinkware makes kick ass cameras.
Very good dash cam. The f200 pro is a very usable dash cam with good quality video and audio. I have the 2 channel (front and rear) system an feel much better knowing it’s always watching. Very reliable and for the price it’s a great buy.
Easy installation and good picture quality. Installed the camera a week ago so I'm not able to provide a rating based on long term usage, but so far I please with the picture quality and compared to other cameras I've tried the set up was very easy. I'll follow up after I've used the camera for a longer period
Great little cam the app download can be a bit confusing. The media could not be loaded.  Great little cam i like the Wi-Fi feature. I wish the videos were easier to find and the app was easier to set up because there are a few to pick from. Other than that I bought 2 one for each car. It saved me when a guy lost control and hydro planed around me and hit a parked car. The guy said i side swiped him. The camera says different.
lasted less than 5 minutes. Installed correctly by shop. Couldn't read any of the 3 thinkware memory cards I bought for it. Then stopped powering up at all.
I don’t usually write reviews but in this case I am. All the bad reviews I found to be bogus… my only complaint is it should have better directions…like tell people when you download the clip the picture quality is 100% better than it appears in the app…but once I figured it out it’s an amazing camera for the money…
This is my first dash cam and I have no real experience with other security cameras. I like the size of this camera. I was able to mount it behind the rear view mirror so it’s very unobtrusive. I’m not handy but I was able to install it myself ticking away the wire while being mindful of the air bags. The app works well and pulling off the videos was simple. So far, I’m happy with this
I bought this camera as a theft deterrent and also to record hit and runs. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the build quality, size, picture/video quality, and ease of installation. It has a very wide angle 1080p lens that picks up everything going on in front of the car. I have it hardwired to vehicle battery so that it is always recording upon motion detection. That hardwire kit is an added piece to the kit ($40), It does however come with a cigarette lighter adapter. The reason why I chose to go with the hardwire kit was because the cigarette lighter in my car only has power when the ignition is on. I wanted this camera to be able to monitor when my car was off and I was not inside it.This dashcam does not have a screen built-in so you don't have to worry about being sidetracked in the middle of the night while you're driving. Anytime you want to view what the camera has recorded, simply open the thinkware app and connect to your dash cam so you can view the footage. There is a memory card that it comes with as well. All video footage will be stored on there until you download it to your phone or computer. Night vision quality is above par, have no complaints about that it seems to pick up a lot of motion even from the other side of the street. You can adjust sensitivities and different settings inside of the app as well. The camera has 2 expansion ports as well. One of them is a GPS slot where you can plug in the optional GPS puck, usually goes for about $45 - $50 on Amazon, which would give you speed Telemetry and will warn you on any sort of red light cameras up ahead. When you park your car in the driveway at night, the GPS puck will pick up your Wi-Fi at home and will automatically update or download any new additions for red light cameras Within Canada or the United States, so that you are updated for the next day of driving. The other expansion port is for the rear camera, if you would like to purchase that. If you do buy it, it comes with a back 1080p camera with about 25ft - 30ft of cable that will plug into the dash cam the exact same way the GPS Puck plugs in.Lastly every time you get into the vehicle and you turn it on, the dashcam has an automated voice that will speak to you and it will let you know how many times it detected motion and how many times there was a recorded hit. Keep in mind any time you open or close the door, the trunk or the hood, the dashcam records it as a hit as well.
I’m still trying to figure it out
I have only had it about a week, so long term I can't comment. But initial thoughts, easy to setup, has good picture, it is sensitive with the shock sensor as it notifies when triggered. Compact and the wifi feature is great, it can handle 128g cards which is great also, is you will have less rewrites on the card hopefully prolonging the life of them.
Great quality video, you can't spot number plates of other cars clearly though. I love the feature of downloading videos on my phone using the wifi feature. The suction cups I ordered separately with this device have worked well. The camera hasn't fallen off yet, it's been a month. I bought this after reading a lot of reviews online as I was on a budget. The camera is sleek and hides well behind the center mirror. Go for it!

Wow. After finally figuring out both of the applications required to use this system, I finally got things up and running properly. There is no way to use this without both of the applications. As far as the camera system is concerned, it’s awesome. Video is crystal clear. Even at night. The rear camera is just as good as the front camera. The actual installation is easy. No difficulty at all. I had a Garmin DC57 before this, and it doesn’t even compare. Just be patient the first few times trying to get everything synced up and online. It’s well worth the time and effort. If you want the peace of mind that comes with a dependable drive recording system, this can’t be beat for the money.
Update firmware manually. When I first purchased this, I was beyond pissed because I couldn't get my phone to pair to the camera. Spent over 3 hours in my car trying to pair. Updated firmware to the latest version via SD card. Worked flawlessly and zero connection problems. Camera quality is very good even in somewhat lower lighting. Good features on the app for setting up power saving/record triggering as well. My only complaint is that I'd rather it not speak to me every single time I start my car. A simple beep or tone to let me know it's recording would be nicer.
Love it. Definitely recommend it well worth it
Depends on your situation. For me I bought this because a neighbor was carelessly bumping my car with his door and scratching it up when he walked by. I have seen it from my balcony but couldn't get proof with video so after a $700 install from the Dashcam Store and this $300+ purchase - needless to say spending a $1,000 is well out my budget but was hopeful it would be worth it.Sadly to say I came back from a week long trip and the video recordings of the 128 GB SD Card only have the night before. My guess is that it overheated from the sun/temperatures but how extremely disappointing to come back and find that after all these expenses that nothing shows for it.As you can imagine I chose this camera for its night vision. the trials before the trip did not produce much. In other words it was only car lights would set off the camera but never captured people walking by.So, if you're in a similar position and happen to live in the south where it gets a bit hotter than the rest I would advise to not waste your money on it - although the drivers have become careless and might be good for incidents on the road it doesn't hold up for parking (I did get the external battery and radar module).I await response from Thinkware whom I've read is difficult to get ahold of . . .
One of the best in the market. This product is great with the Thinkware connected app I’m able to see incidents even when I’m not in the vehicle. The only thing you have to set a hotspot on your vehicle while your vehicle is off. It can be done with a hotspot from one one of your phone providers with at least 5g. Hook it up to a external portable charger so it can stay charged all the time and you are good to go. On the other hand it’s a great dash cam.
Not Worth the price. This is an addition to the thinkware cam I put in my work Van that one is a Q800Pro. That one uses one app to see it remotely or while you're in the vehicle. This one Q1000 uses two apps. One app to be able to see it when you're in the vehicle and another app to see it remotely. And both apps are like okay. The app for the q800 Pro is so much better. So now I have to have three apps on my phone so I can see the one in my work van and the one in my personal car. Why wouldn't Think ware use one app for all their cameras. Not impressed with the Q1000 camera I got...
Good. Good
Great quality video. The quality of the video is great on this model. With the CPL filter, you can clearly see everything during the daytime. Hardwire connection is easy enough, but they do have OBD connectors as well as tapping into auto dimming mirrors. This is my third Thinkware Dash cam and I plan to continue to use them as long as quality holds up.
EDIT: Contacted support re: software not working on Pixel 6 Pro. They sent a beta version of the app that works. Upgrading to 5 stars.----Pros:- Decent image, night mode recording is fairly clear- Easy to install, looks sleek- Does not obstruct the view by muchCons:- Worst software ever. Dash Cam Link software does not work on Android 13 / Pixel phones. It connects to the camera, but the live view features / playback of stored videos does not work.- The PC / Mac Viewers are no longer supported and are deprecated.- Default WIFI password does not work, no way to set a custom WIFI password.
one thing with this model, it dosn't tell you where there is speed and redlight traffic cameras. other then that its awsome.
The item box damaged arrived. Is it really new item?

Great Camera. I had a sincere amount of my windshield already, this camera slid right on that mount And plug right on in. the picture quality is fantastic. recommend for everyone.
Great camera, disappointed in playback features. I bought this X800 camera bundle (front and rear) and had it professionally installed. It works great and has lots of bells and whistles! But even so, it lacks (what I see as) a basic feature - connectivity to a cell phone for playback! I wish I would have realized when I bought it because I would have bought a different model. Thinkware still has my thumbs up, however.
Upset. This is my second dash camera. The first died from lack of use. The new one is a better model. Rear cameras are not interchangeable so I bought a new one too. Now a month later, the main camera refuses to connect to the rear camera. Even though the rear camera light is on. Not happy.
Nice camera, setup is hell. It is pretty much impossible to peel off the protective sheet from the 3M double sided adhesive pad. The package had a replacement, but it has the same problem. Returning is a no-go as this was a (early ordered) present. Now I need to find a different solution to attach the camera to the windshield.I ordered the same dashcam a few years back, no issue then with the adhesive pads. And there is no way to contact the manufacturer from here.
This was my first choice BUT. Actually Blackvue was my first choice but they don't offer a model with a display. Thinkware was my next choice they have the X800 and the X1000 which both have a beautiful display but just like the Blackvue they both only offer a 1 minute duration saved video file. I want the option to select how long of a file in minutes I want to record. I currently have a Blackvue DR490L which was a 2 camera with a really nice touch screen display problem is my rear camera failed and Blackvue no longer provides a replacement and they no longer offer a model with a display! AND IT ONLY HAD A 1 MINUTE RECORDING! I didn't discover this until after my purchase and I was very disappointed. My previous cameras were longer.I'M HERE TO TELL YOU THAT NOT EVERYONE HAS A CELL PHONE AND I'M ONE OF THEM!You need to offer products for us too!I decided on a Rove R3
…it’s perfect if you want a middle of the road dash cam for your first one or even an upgrade from a cheaper one you may have from some other brand. It’s been fantastic for me. The customer service is great as I had a few questions. The video and sound quality is fine. It was installed by a pro, it’s secure and neither front or back camera has dislodged. If I ever upgraded most likely will go with a higher end Thinkware as I’m happy with this.
No audio when transfer file to computer, no warning alert

Great product. This dash cam just launched this year so it has the newest technology. I am satisfied with the performance and quality.Easy to installI found the user manual in the support section of the Thinkware Link app, followed it and installed in a short amount of time.Easy to connect to the app.Clicked the WiFi icon on the screen, scanned the QR code shown with the Thinkware Link app, connected!Smart driving alerts (recommendedFront vehicle departure warning and Traffic signal alert features are really convenient. The response time of both features are fast and alerts you right away. It notifies you when the signal changes and when the vehicle in front of you starts to drive off. I tend to get distracted easily when driving. The drivers behind can thank Thinkware for offering these features in their dash cams.Comes with a memory card.It is kind of nice that Thinkware included a memory card, most of the other brands don't come with one. 32GB of memory isn't a lot but at least I didn't have to hassle in buying one separately.I will update this review in a few months after I get in some use.
efficient. 2024 New THINKWARE ARC Dash Cam with Smart Driving Alert System, 3X Energy Saving, 1440P+1440P Front and Rear, Wi-Fi, Super Night Vision, 24/7 Parking Mode (Free 32GB Card, Hardwiring, 12V Cable, GPS)The Thinkware dual camera (rear and dash) cam system is a superb addition to my old Chrysler. These days, I can't be too careful in traffic or even just leaving my car sitting in a lot somewhere, and these two cameras bring ease of mind. The images are reasonable, installation simple enough (though quite tedious, you will need an upholstery tool to hide the wiring), the night vision adequate. The installation did lack a bit in that no paper instructions were included (little tip: A car that is shutdown to allow for wiring a camera is truly annoying to have to go fetch an iPad). The password protection for the camera and its stored imagery is a nice add, as is the touchscreen. I did not have the trouble other reviews mention with disconnects over WiFi (though will state Bluetooth would be "better" for convenience.Having said nice things, now we come to price. Ouch. $280 is a bit much. That said I see a nice $60 discount today, so that makes the deal reasonable and gives the star I had taken away for pricing back. All in all this is a reasonable camera with reasonably priced features. An STG Synergies BTN Enterprises Review!
Defective Unit. I think I received a defective unit. The touch screen does not register touches correctly. I've tried to calibrate the touch screen. And it happens. It's like it thinks I'm missing the points it's telling me to push... I hope I'm never in an accident, cuz I won't be able to press the manual record button...
Great camera super simple to install. This camera has great picture quality and the added features that it has with GPS are great. This was super simple to install it took me longer to unpack it than to install it, you just need basic install skills and most important the ability to figure out how to do something and a little common sense to go along. Ford sells Thinkware as an accessory, but they charge twice the price for it, but I can see why they pick Thinkware it is a great camera. Well worth the money. I will not go into every little detail because I am not trying to sell it but to just say what I think about it for my use! From what I see I am the only person reviewing this that actually put money out for it everyone else got it for free so this is a review from an actual buyer!
Just okay, seemingly not worth the high price. I've tried out a bunch of dash cams this year via Vine. I was really excited when I saw the Thinkware unit pop up because I have heard good things about the brand in the past and because the price was up there so high it seemed like this would be a dash cam with flawless performance. That is the basis of my review, that has a $279 dash cam, this unit should blow all of the others away.Let's start with the app, for a company that focuses just on dash cams I really expected the Thinkware app to perform flawlessly. I was relatively shocked when I saw the extremely low rating on the Apple App Store. I had some connection issues and found that the app was slow to connect to the camera from time to time. There was some lag even when sitting 2 feet from the camera and quite often settings made on the app never made it to the camera. Overall - the app is just buggy and seemingly not ready for release. The camera itself feels really sturdy and high quality. But then you get to the power. Why does anyone use anything other than USBC to power devices any more? It is literally the international standard but this uses an old barrel style adaptor. That means no changing out cables for a shorter or longer cable that fits better, you're stuck using their proprietary cable. While I'm griping about tech standards - this comes with a 16GB card. Who knew they even made cards with that little storage these days? Wholesale cost on a 128GB microSD card is like $5 nowadays. Using a 16GB card just screams "cheap".Luckily, the camera itself works really well. But that's a pretty low bar as I've had all but the cheapest sub $50 dashcams turn in pretty solid performance. If you can pick this up for around $150 - it's probably worth it, otherwise I'd keep looking at other reviews to find a better value.
Excellent quality, worth the price. I'm just getting into dash cams, and with the way the world is going, I think they are a mush. I've seen a couple other cams and this one is massively better. Nice alloy body, great instructions, lots of wire and well thought out. Some may say it is way too expensive just to sit in a car to record your driving. But if it saves your day with your insurance company, it may end up well worth it. Only complaint I have, it should include a 64G or 128G SD card. At this price, they went cheap on the storage. Other than that, they have a great cam here. Oh, and this is the only one I tested that you can download the footage to your phone without removing the SD card. Great addition.
I decided to get this dash cam after my friend was in an accident because I wanted it to help me with any insurance claims in the future. The video quality is great, I love the sleek design and the LCD touchscreen was intuitive and responsive, making it easy to use.The camera was simple to install after reading the instructions and watching videos online. The most time consuming part is hiding the wires. At first, I found connecting to the WiFi to be difficult, but after re-reading the instructions on how to connect, I realized that I was scanning the QR code incorrectly. At first, I was scanning the QR code with my camera, but you are suppose to scan the QR code in the mobile app. After realizing that, it was simple to connect to the settings and WiFi to view my videos. While the price is a little higher than other dash cams I was looking at, it is worth it due to the diverse built-in safety and smart driving alerts and the peace of mind it provides me while I’m driving. I highly recommend it!
Installed a 2023 CX-50. Dash cam looks great and operates very well. Video quality is decent and Parking mode works great. Happy with my purchase.
Small but works well, Good video quality with 2K resolution, Easy to install, Straightforward with the LCD screen.
